Wow, this place was unreal. The place was spotless- it was so clean. The portions were HUGE, and the prices matched it well. Those crab rangoons were life changing, sushi was amazing, and the hibachi was so good and came with not only rice but a side salad and pork gyoza. Staff was super friendly, brought us our food packed up with a bag to go as well. Best place ever.

I perused the menu and decided on the sushi sashimi combo#1, for pickup.
Beautifully presented with a small iceberg side salad and the most interesting dressing.
The platter had a generous portion of the most sinus clearing wasabi I’ve had in a while. Excellent. A very generous helping of pickled ginger that was a fresh and spicy delight.
I tucked into the rolls to check out the rice. Wonderfully soft and sticky. Not a dried our kernel to be found, yummy.
The sashimi was sliced into perfect ribbons, not to thin, not to thick. Placed over a proper bed of shredded daikon and lettuce leaves.
The rolls were a salmon topped with a ribbon of nori and soft sticky rice. Simple but tasty.
Sushi was arranged in a neat row on the same soft and chewy sticky rice. Easily swept through a soy and wasabi mix and finished with a pinch of that piquant ginger.
I finished the meal by putting the side salad over the radish with the dressing, I couldn’t quite place the ingredients of, over top.
A nice end to a very good sushi meal.
No more supermarket sushi for me, KIKU is the place to go.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place is run with genuine care and passion. The restaurant is spotless. The sushi is absolutely delish and incredibly fresh.

I loved the decoration. It’s a small building, but the atmosphere very quiet and peaceful. The paintings and one of the back walls looks beautiful. The staff is super kind and the food is AMAZING! The prices really aren’t bad, especially considering how expensive fish can be. The quality is 10/10 as well. The avocados tasted especially great.

I’ve been a regular customer here (9-10 visits), but after yesterday I’ll never return. I ordered the Manhattan Special Roll and on my last bite, I found a huge staple stuck between my teeth and gums. This could have easily ended up in my throat.
When I called the restaurant, they lied and said the manager wasn’t there, even though I had just seen the father (owner) making my sushi. They even had a child at the register repeat the lie, and they kept sending my calls to voicemail. I had to drive back with the sushi and staple to show them in person before they finally gave me a refund.
The food safety issue was bad enough, but the dishonesty, lack of accountability, and teaching a child to lie is worse. I was a loyal customer, but I will never be back.

Highly recommend!! So glad I decided to try this new restaurant. I ordered sushi and it was incredibly fresh and tasted excellent. Very clean restaurant, great prices and friendly staff. I will be back!

This place is the best addition to Depew! I’ve had 2 of their poke bowls and both were absolutely delicious and filling, and their prices are VERY reasonable which I feel like is a rarity as of late. My coworker was raving about their hibachi lunch special and i took a look at their menu and was blown away by all the different options of cuisine to choose from.
Definitely will keep coming back here!! So happy to have Kiku in Depew !!
