Kiku is a well kept secret. Do not judge a book by its cover. Located on the second floor, the restaurant is small but don’t let that deter you. The food is incredible. I had the lunch bento box with salmon. Everything was fresh and crafted with care. Service was great with no wait for a table. I would highly recommend Kiku!

Great sushi and great service every time we’ve been here. Easy to remember 55th Street and 5th Avenue. Restaurant is upstairs with a good view of 55th Street.

a hidden 2nd storey eatery with like 4 tables. we were really hungry and this place was so amazing – fresh fish, big portions, quick service, and a friendly waiter. 10/10. might be the best Japanese food i’ve had in NYC at this price point

An upstairs spot, overlooks the street. The inside is small and quaint 16 seats in total. Smallest table is 2, people biggest is for 6.

This spot has amazing sushi, go here.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Manhattan.

Food is very good. I was happily surprised. Their menu has more to offer than it looks.

Service is great and fast. The owner is really cool.

Atmosphere is simple but it works and its clean.

Space – It is quite small (and on the second floor) but its worth a try. Hence, there is always people.

100% hidden gem. Delicious, delicious food. Nicely priced. VERY local vibe, extremely nice owner. We’ll definitely be neck and you should go, too!
We’re ordered fried gyoza, sushi combo D (can’t remember but I think it was 2 rolls, lobster and shrimp), River Roll, and hibachi chicken. Can’t recommended enough!!

It’s a lovely little place upstairs. Not too loud with a nice little street view. They do a lot of take out but if you have a small group or want to go alone its a great little atmosphere. All the sushi is super fresh. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu but absolutely would recommend for sushi!
