I ordered a curry ramen and it had no seasoning. I don’t know if they forgot to put it or what. I couldn’t eat it even after adding lots of salt. It was completely flavorless. I had been here before and the ramen was always delicious. But it seems like they cannot deliver as promised when we come back hoping for same. The waiter seemed sweet but was the only one running around. He forgot that we ordered miso soup, didn’t give us chopsticks till we asked, forgot straws in our drink. I understand it could be because he was the only one handling all tables. Maybe they need to have at least one more person rather than let us customers have such a bad experience. I’m honestly so disappointed

Great place! Was looking for a new ramen place in San Marcos since we like to try new places and came across this one. Reviews were good so I thought it was worth trying and glad we did. Ordered the kids chicken tenders & fries (batter in the nuggets was slightly undercooked but I have also noticed that with McDonalds as well so idk if that’s normal).
Ordered the poke bowl with chicken & spicy mayo which was really good and had a great flavor! The bowl was huge and I felt like it could’ve served 3 people comfortably HUGE PORTIONS in a good way.
Ordered the spicy miso which was also good; we wanted to order a spicy tonkatsu but that was not an option on the menu, I’m sure if we asked it might have been one or maybe they could’ve made it? I’m not sure
Overall, this place is really good and we will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed this new spot here in San Marcos. The poke bowls were DELICIOUS and I can’t wait to go back to try their bento boxes. They also have a game right as you walk in called the 10 second challenge. If you’re able to end the timer at exactly 10 seconds, you get your meal free! Give them and the game a try sometime!

This really was a great little spot. Don’t let the outside fool you. We both ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. Medium spice. I didn’t really think it was that spicy at all. For me that’s not a problem . The ramen was really good and the atmosphere was relaxing. They had anime intro and outro music playing along with One Piece and FMA Brotherhood on their TV’s. It was a great experience can’t wait to go back.

Have ordered here twice, once for pickup, the other in store. The pickup order was set for my lunch break, but I immediately got notification that my order was ready when I placed it and when I called in was told they missed the order ready time.
I tried again in store to give them another chance as I love poke and ramen. Having tried both (as well as most of their apps) I can say this place was rather underwhelming. The fried sides tasted oily and the takoyaki was undercooked. The poke was passable, but for the price I expect a bit better especially with the other shops in town.
The ramen was the best thing I tried and the portion size was fantastic and good topping variety, although I did find the broth rather salty until I mixed in some other sauces they had available.

Kikko serves some of the best Japanese food I’ve tasted in Texas. The ramen, miso soup, and curry katsu (not pictured) were genuinely amazing and the service was great!! The portions were HUGE and the prices were very fair! You’re missing out if you haven’t tried them!
