My wife and I visited and had a great experience. It has been a couple months and I am just now sitting down to write the review.
When we walked in we were greeted and welcomed as we found our own table. The place is aptly decorated and has the normal ambiance of a Mexican food restaurant you would expect to see. Bright colors, and a warm atmosphere go a long way in making you feel comfortable.
The drink cups were big, and that is a HUGE plus for me. We enjoyed our meal and it was very tasty. I like their chips and their salsa. If you are in the area, stop in, and give them a try. you will not be disappointed.

Leaving church the family must have breakfast together and more often than not we break bread eating out. We had tried this restaurant before and the memory was not a good one so we decided to give it another shot. The restaurant is located in a strip mall so parking is not an issue. We walked in and like the first time the restaurant had no customers. The server was nice yet really didn’t provide customer service especially since we were the only ones in the establishment. We were given chips and salsa which had an authentic flavor. They refilled the chips and salsa which was nice of our server. Our server also gave us taste of chile con queso which was Tex-Mex style which is not authentic. Our orders were simple, enfrijoladas with eggs, chilaquiles, fajitas and plain quesadillas for Cashew. After placing the order we waited, waited and yes waited same as our first visit. That made no sense for being the only ones in the restaurant. The food was plain and not much of an authentic taste. The portions were small and for $68 for breakfast, along with a tax for using a credit card, this location will not be at the top of our 20 restaurants in North Dallas area.

They actually serve Perviuan food here and Mexican food too. The sign outside says Mexican but not the only food served here.
We came for Perviuan food!
El choclo was very tender and soft not hard
the concha was just perfect, not burnt
the food portion is generous
the rocoto was really good and spicy not water down .
Yes you can get Mexican food too!

Absolutely fantastic- the reviews don’t do enough justice to this great small restaurant. You all know the checklist for a great Mexican restaurant: Salsa chips flavor and the cost is just icing on the cake. Give them a try and you will for sure have found your new go to place in rowlett!

First visit. Won’t be the last. Every single dish we had was amazing. We had bacon-wrapped shrimp, yucca fries, Causa, Mar y Tierra, and the daily special (taco and enchilada with rice and beans). We will definitely be back.

Was shopping at harbor freight and noticed this place nestled right next door. I was craving something with guacamole so I ordered the Sophia’s bowl and it did not disappoint. The fajita meat was seasoned to perfection and the portion was big. The presentation was nice as well. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other attractive menu items.

We visited during a weekday lunch and it was not crowded. The service was pretty good even though we had to seat ourselves. The enchiladas were tasty and the flan was delicious as well. They were selling tamales since it was the holidays.

First time customer and was pleasantly suprised. I ordered La Campana and they don’t hold back on carne asada. Very good quality. The Mexican corn was awesome. After, highly recommend trying the churros. Will be back again to try the great variety on the menu.
