Went in on a weekday morning after hearing a few local folks mention this bakery. The place felt calm and clean, with a nice smell of fresh bread as soon as you walk in. I tried a couple pastries and a loaf to take home. Everything tasted fresh, not overly sweet, which I liked. The croissant was flaky, though a little smaller than expected, but still good quality. Staff was polite and didn’t rush anyone, even when a short line formed. Prices seemed fair for a neighborhood bakery. Nothing super fancy, just solid baked goods done right. I’d come back again when I’m in the area.

I swung into this bakery on a Saturday morning after running errands nearby. The place smelled like fresh bread the second I opened the door, which is always a good sign. I tried a blueberry muffin and a turkey croissant. The muffin was soft and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The croissant had a nice flaky texture, though it was a little messy to eat in the car. The staff was polite and patient while I looked over the display case (took me a minute to decide). Prices seemed fair for the quality. I’ll probly come back to try their sourdough next time.

The kiffles are so fresh and delicious, my fave is apricot, dangerously easy to eat a 1/2 dozen with morning coffee… & It’s great fun to tour the Allentown market, and grab some for the road – they are crazy busy during the holidays!

It was very busy, as expected but worth the wait. Everything tasted so fresh. As PA-Puerto Rican, I have tasted many sweets but one of my favorite go-to, is here. EVERY FRIDAY! (Don’t tell my kids) as they only get half the dozen. 😉

These are so good, no wonder there is a huge line at Christmas time. Order ahead of time for shipping, they stopped shipping for Xmas on 12/15. Worth all the fuss though.
