Came in before a Timberwolves game. The restaurant is nice and I liked the vibe. The service was friendly and great!

They were pretty busy since it was dinner time before a game, but our group of four was able to be seated right away.

We got the pretzel to start and it came with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The pretzel and cheese were pretty good and my husband confined that the mustard was very spicy in a horseradish way.

In our group we got the:

Mac and cheese: it had peas and bell peppers in it and came with a side salad. The Mac and cheese was ok. Needed salt and wasn’t great. I did not like the side salad at all. It was just greens with a vinaigrette, but it tasted strange to me. My husband liked it ok.

Bangers and mash: my husband said it was pretty good. I tried the mash and it was ok.

Reuben sandwich: friend said it was pretty good and he liked the fries.

Vegetable curry: friend liked the taste of the sauce, but wished there was more since the dish was pretty dry. They also wished there were more vegetables for the amount of rice in the dish.

The prices and too high in my opinion for what you get. Seems like they are taking advantage of being the restaurant across from Target Center and being convenient.

I wouldn’t go back.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Kieran’s Irish Pub, where the people and the service truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and the sense of community that fills the place. The atmosphere buzzed with camaraderie, making it easy to strike up conversations and meet great people from all walks of life.

Exceptional service was the hallmark of my visit. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, always ready with a recommendation or a quick check-in to see if you needed anything. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel effortless and personal, turning a casual night out into something memorable.

The bar team deserves a special shout-out. They were not only efficient but also passionate about what they do, offering thoughtful drink suggestions and entertaining stories that added to the pub’s warm, authentic vibe. It’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming environment where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy good company.

If you’re looking for a place to meet new friends, enjoy quality drinks, and experience top-notch service, Kieran’s Irish Pub is a standout choice. I left with new connections, great memories, and a plan to return soon.

Everything about our visit was excellent. The food was beyond tasty. The pot roast was savory and tender. The cod from the fish and chips was perfectly breaded and crispy while the cod itself was buttery and melted in your mouth. Great drinks selection. Everyone was friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is vintage Irish and very cozy.

We stopped in before a game and had a great experience as usual. They do a great job of combining a lively bar atmosphere and really good food, which is rare. We both just had a burger this time, but we’ve had a number of good experiences and can vouch for many of the menu items. If you’re headed to a game or concert, or just want a good spot for dinner or a pint, make your way to Kieran’s and you won’t be disappointed.

We came here because it was close to the hotel and we were starving after a day of travel. So glad we came here. The food was absolutely delicious. The poutine was not too salty. The flavors of the Reuben were well balanced. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall we were super pleased.

Service is most excellent, I really enjoyed my salad and they have a decent size outdoor patio that is right across the street from Target Center.

Walked in and was immediately seated and asked what I would like to drink! My server then gave me menus and brought my drink right over! This was a massive change from the bar across the street that I had just left after I had sat at a table for 10 minutes and had been completely ignored so I left and came to Kiernan’s… Super glad I did, as the food and service were outstanding! The patio is fantastic! The ambiance is great! If you are going to a game downtown, go early and stop by to get a drink and some food!

Decent food. Average at best service. $16 for a side of fries? Thats insane. Also have items marked as gluten free on the menu, then the server will tell you they’re not gluten free

What a nice place to eat and drink with friends. Great vibe! Waitress was awesome. Asked her opinion between the fish and chips and the chicken sandwich…but before she could answer I just told her to pick and surprise me. She did not disappoint when she brought me the chicken sandwich!! Guinness was so good!!!! Then when asked how good the cheese cake was she said it was worth it….AGAIN…she did not do me wrong. Next time I come to town I’m coming back!

Absolute wonderful experience. We started out with the spinach artichoke dip. It was so delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had. I had the bangers and mash, my partner had the chicken pub pie. So good and large portions. Ended with the cheesecake! Our waitress was super nice and always on the spot with refills. Highly recommend.
