Had an incredibly enjoyable meal here tonight – food, drinks, and service were all delightful and on point. Small dining room made service feel very personal (thanks, Mario!) and the food was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the steak and and pork chop stuffed with Oaxacan cheese and chorizo. We will definitely be back to try more!

You don’t want to miss this restaurant. It was one of the best I have tried. The tamale with red mole was life changing and the french toast was actually the best I have ever had. We loved that you get chips and beans for the table. I loved the cantarito as well. The staff were all extremely nice.

This was my first visit and what a treat. My server, Mario B, gave me the best service I’ve had in a very long time – knowledgeable, laid back, and friendly. The food was outstanding. It was perfect. The dining room is very comfortable and they were playing Mexican ballads at a good volume which gave my guest and me some privacy in our conversation despite the closeness of other diners. The margaritas were perfect, Mario mixed them himself with Tobala, a mezcal he recommended. He gave us all kinds of great info about the mezcal and the food we were eating. The prices were high but I’d pay them again and again to get the fresh, delicious food and the exemplary service. One of the best meals I’ve head in a long time.

This was probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We went for Sunday brunch today and the chilaquiles and stuffed poblano pepper were incredible. Guava mimosas, excellent service to top it off. Will definitely be back!

Outstanding Mexican food and drinks with a cute sidewalk patio and amazing service. Mom and I loved the chips and bean dip to start. I ordered a mezcal cantarito which was a great balance of sweet, fresh juice, salty chapulines and booze. The food has amazing and complex flavors that reminded me of some restaurants I’ve visited in Oaxaca.

This place was incredible. The food was delicious and fresh. Everything including the bean dip was super flavorful and the atmosphere was very nice at this restaurant. We came in to a full house with a reservation and it was full of voices and other people clearly having a great time as well. The decorations at this place are beautiful as well and make it a good environment to dine in. I am definitely planning my next visit.

Kie-Gol-Lanee is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is consistently flavorful and beautifully prepared, and the service is top-notch. Jorge and the team are so polite, attentive, and make every visit a pleasure. The happy hour margaritas never disappoint, and the chapulines were a standout – rich in flavor and perfectly done. You can feel the pride and care in every dish they serve. Well done!

I’ve been here for dinner a few times but was asleep on their brunch! Many vegetarian options. I tried the Huevos A La Oaxaquena (chihuahua cheese omelet topped with red sauce, served with rice, beans, and tortillas) and I recommend trying it. I got my toddler regular pancakes and I was jealous because these were GOOD pancakes!

Others stuck to the all day menu and had Tlayudas (10-inch tortillas with toppings) which you should definitely try if this is your first time here.

Amazing authentic Oxacan food. Had fried grasshoppers as the starter and that’s eye opening. Very crispy texture and well seasoned. Also had their chefs special baby lamb chops and it’s the best chops I’ve ever had. Asked for medium rare and it’s so juicy and didnt feel it’s that raw at all. So tender. Service is nice but sometimes they seem a little lost. Parking is absolutely challenging to find and just good luck on that.
