Great little bar with big flavor! Good selection of beers and a full bar too. Menu is nice and a few award winning dishes. I had the onion soup which was cheesey and oniony and delicious. I also opted for the elk burger which was very good. The jam.spread they put on there was real good. Also had a Cuban sandwich which was good as well. Great french fries…can’t go wrong with fresh cut fries! Good service and good vibe inside. TVs for games, nice bar to sit at.

Stopped in this little bar for a quick drink and bite to eat. Had good reviews and didn’t disappoint. Burgers were great cooked to perfection and salad was excellent quality.grat sweet potato fries and dips to go with them. Drinks were on point as well. The bartender was good and patient with us as it was our first time there. It’s clean and bathrooms seemed clean and kept. Definitely would go back

I came in with a party of 5 at about 6:45, with in 5 minutes we were seated. After 15 minutes of waiting our waitress finally came and got our order for the drink. We didn’t receive the drinks for another 10 minutes. With the restaurant being not busy at all it should have taken no time. The waitress took our order. Our appetizer came after waiting for 25 minutes. The waitress never brought us plates, napkins, and silverware. After about 45 minutes of waiting our food finally came out. I ordered the birria tacos. The tacos were very light. It wasn’t bad,but the consome that comes with the tacos tastes like death. The consome tastes like it could give you a heart attack from all the salt. Overall the tacos were very salty and alright. After almost being done eating our waitress finally comes with the plates and napkins. We had to wait another 20 minutes for the check. Was very disappointed with my experience, will not be coming back again .

We have enjoyed KR multiple times recently. This place is a keeper. Great comfort food some unusual vegetarian items. Every item we ordered was hot and fresh and full of flavor at a decent price! Service is great. Patrons are friendly. We always leave with food we enjoy later. Great work!

I’ve heard so many fantastic things about Kid Rip’s that I knew I had to try it. I was jonesing hard for French onion soup and heard that they had some of the best so that sealed the deal and we went for dinner. When we got there, there was about a 20 minute wait, which made sense at 8:30 PM on a Friday night. It was a bit frustrating when another group came in about 10 minutes after we did without a reservation or anything and were seated right away. Again, not a huge deal – there were four of them and only two of us so we figured that had something to do with it. The waitress was super nice and attentive. It’s a tavern and so it’s not surprising, but it was incredibly loud and not easy at all to hear each other. Once more, not the biggest deal but it diminished the experience. As far as food, we ordered the truffle fries, which were excellent the chicken strips, and the poached pear salad, which were all excellent and huge portions. Ironically, the one thing that I really wanted was the one thing that I did not like: the French onion soup was just too intense and salty. I couldn’t finish it which I don’t think has ever happened to me. I admit that I was surprised that they didn’t at least offer to take it off the bill (I told the waitress) so that was disappointing. Otherwise, the food was very good and we will try it again.

I recently visited this tavern and was happy with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was inviting, and the place was very clean.
We ordered an Elk cheeseburger and a Cubano sandwich, both of which were delicious. The flavors were rich and satisfying and the fresh fries were fresh.
The selection of beers was nice too and they had variety in the cocktails.
I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great meal in a cozy and divey atmosphere.

Our bartender was great! Wish the mozzarella wheels and my fries were hot (neither was and they came out at different times). Burgers were hot and very good, though. Please have the kitchen work on making sure everything’s hot.

Went to dinner at Kid Rip’s to see an old friend who is bartending there. Their tomato soup is absolutely as good as everyone claims, just delicious and thick. I also had the Elk Burger. It was delicious, moist and tasty with more flavor than ground beef. Service was great and the Elk Burger is worth a trip all by itself! I’ll be back!

I’d normally give 4-5 stars since we’ve had good experiences here before and the food and drinks are above average for a bar. But today I got a four beer flight. Two of the four came back wrong, I was only allowed to replace one with the one I wanted, and then I was charged for that replacement on top of it all. Kid Rips deserves more than 5 stars. Incredible beer list, down-to-earth attentive staff, fun events throughout the week (trivia, bingo), reliable and steady menu yet with the option to try new fun specials… I could go on and on! Local hidden gem for sure. You must try the blue cheese burger & the avocado fries. Thank you Kid Rips for so many great meals, memories, and fun nights
