Kickshaws is hands down one of the best food trucks on the island. The food tastes like it was designed by a five-star chef! Every dish is creative, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. They also have great gluten-free options, which was a huge bonus.
During our stay we actually went out of our way to find them multiple times because the food was that good. I highly recommend the jackfruit, iit was absolutely incredible. If you see Kickshaws around the island, do yourself a favor and stop. You won’t regret it!

We were leaving Hanapepe right as kickshaws pulled up. We decided to wait for 20 minutes for him to setup and it was worth the wait. The meat was amazing and the flavors on point. The corn that came with the burger was amazing too. Totally worth the wait!

They often do Truck Stop Thursdays at Kauai Beer co (my favorite spot on island). Kickshaws is a great addition to an already amazing restaurant. You can get any of their burgers/sandwiches on a “Hot Toddy”… which you should do.

Kickshaws was always on our list to try but we could never get the timing right until this vacation. Seth and his family is honestly amazing! It was so good we ate there twice in one day lol

AMAZING food and service! The owners were so kind and we had a great conversation with them. All of the food was outstanding and I may dream about the grilled cheese for the rest of my life.
Everything was 10/10 and the portions are HUGE, you could definitely spilt a sandwich.
We are already planning another visit this week!

We stopped here on a day when he opened at 11a. We also just split the burger and the tater tots waffle, so we have limited experience at this truck. I thought that the burger was flavorful, but a little greasy (the bottom bun was SOGGY) likely due to the patty being 20% bacon . The sides for the burger, though just a bonus, were rather uninspired kettle chips and about 5 green beans. The tater tot waffle was also good with the cheese sauce, but definitely heavy. Perhaps if I ordered one of the more unique sandwiches, I could bump up the rating to 5…
It was good enough that I would try it again on a return trip, but I’ll have to give it a *good not great* this time.
