A group of us went for lunch after an event we attended. It was 20+ people in our party. They opened up a small room to accommodate us.
I ordered artichoke and spinach dip with chips. It was amazing it was really creamy and tasteful. For my meal I picked the pan seared salmon, mashed potatoes with butter, and green beans. Wasn’t too much wasn’t too little and it was seasoned very well. I recommend anyone who’s looking for a lunch outing or dinner to stop by

Just went to kick back jacks for the first time ever today. My friend and our kids went to the science center and wanted to go to eat after. We looked to see kick back jacks was the closest and catered to everyone’s palette. We were greeted warmly by the hostesses and seated quickly. While it did take a few minutes to be greeted I felt it was made up for in that the food came out hot and timely though they were pretty packed! The fries and burger I had were delicious !! I hate i did not get our servers name but she was kind, friendly and very attentive. The man who ran our food out was great as well. I told a friend who visit there often I understand now why she goes! I definitely look forward to another visit and will try something else the next time! The price was great too! Everything on the menu sounds great! Cant wait to be back!

I wanted chicken wings and I got them. There was a small fee for all flats, and I gladly paid it. I was pleased that the food came out in less than 10 minutes and was streaming hot. It was delightful with a side of green beans. While the beans were well seasoned, they were less than room temperature. I ate them anyway. I enjoyed the meal and am excited to visit again.

We have been to this chain before in other markets and felt that we would have a good experience. We were not disappointed, Janaya was behind the bar and did a wonderful job, attentive, hardworking and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. We ordered the boneless wings and a fresh berry salad, very little wait and both are delicious. It was surprisingly crowded for a Monday but didn’t seem to slow things down. This chain has been great and we will continue supporting for sure.

We had mixed feelings about our visit. Our server was great and our food came out pretty quickly considering how busy they were. The wings (grilled, honey buffalo and honey BBQ) were perfect! We ordered burgers (Forgot to take pictures) Bacon Jam burger which has ok and the mushroom burger was on as well but the fries were hot and fresh. We had a kids chicken tender meal with Mac and cheese, no complaints there. I also has a salad that ended up having a very long hair in it. The manager came over and apologized. I know these things happen but that just kinda turned the evening in a different direction. In case you were wondering they do not comp for things like this. I had to ask them to take the salad off the ticket. If we go back it will strictly be for wings but that’s a serious if.

Loaded cheese fries were very good. Firecracker shrimp also worthy of all praise.
Now for the not so good…there was no notification that the restaurant had been out of flats for days, so we received all drummettes. The wings were a decent size so that is a plus. But the honey Buffalo were mute on flavor all sweetness and no seasoning spice or contrast. They were edible but not good enough to keep wanting to eat. We also got some of the dry rub wings which came burnt and also without the dry rub seasoning. (Also all drums) we mentioned the issues to the waiter who said he would take care of it and left the table. A few moments later a manager showed up and asked how is everything..well since we had aired our complaints with the waiter (who said it would be taken care of) we responded fine the waiter is taking care of it. The manager then looked at us confused and said the waiter told him to come see our table and that he didn’t know why he was confronting us. We then realized the waiter communicated nothing to the manager and just passive aggressively sent him to our table. We explained again about the wings and instead of understanding we were met with confusion. He then asked if he could take the burnt (now cold) wings to the back, add the dry rub then put them BACK in the oven. We stated we no longer wanted the wings and the manager unhappily took them but offered no apology nor parting words. The wings were removed from the bill which was good but I doubt I recommend or return. Good luck to those who go. May your luck be better than ours.

This is my second time ordering a to go order, for simple honey barbecue wing. The first time I came, they had me waiting 45 minutes on a call in order that I placed previous. Manager did give me my money back. I appreciate that. However, today Oct 26th 2025, I placed a pick up order at 3:50 PM. I arrived 30 minutes later 4:20 PM. I approached the to go order section where two staff members were. I gave them my name and what I had ordered.. They told me it wasn’t ready & they were still working on it. Meanwhile, I looked over and saw one to go order sitting on a To-go shelf. So, I went and sat down for about 15 minutes and waited until I saw several orders come out. I then get up and go up to the counter and ask for my order. At that point, I gave them my name and the lady grabs the order that was sitting there on the shelf when I first came in 15 minutes ago. Nah sorry sis, it ain’t gonna rock up like that. Moral of the story, I don’t like lukewarm food because my money ain’t lukewarm. While KickBack Jacks food do be busting for the most part!!! What matters to me is professionalism and service, That’s definitely intermittent at this establishment. Probably won’t be back for a while…

This was our first time eating here. Even though it was extremely busy when we ordered food for pickup, they had it ready in a timely manner and it was really good. The woman on the phone was super friendly and easy to order with. My husband got a burger which was perfect and he’s critical of food we get out. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich which was mouth watering good. I want one now just thinking about it!
