Kichi Taiyaki offered a plethora of Japanese Dessert options. From adorable Cat and Capybara Jiggly puddings, to Milk Teas, to Taiyaki, to Souffle Pancakes of many flavors… it was so difficult to decide what to try first. The gentleman at the offered amazing service, and our order was absolutely delicious. We would HIGHLY recommend the Tiramisu Souffle Pancakes, the Nutella Milk Tea and the Capybara Jiggly Pudding (add the brown sugar Boba topping). We will definitely be returning. Dessert for a family of four, with unique options that appealed to all for a very reasonable price. You should definitely check it out!

Stopped here while on vacation and it was well worth it! So yummy! We had tiramisu, mango, and strawberry souffle pancakes, a red bean taiyaki, and a tea for each of us. The cashier was so friendly!

I was ready to try the pancakes because I’ve tried them in Orlando and they were awesome (different restaurant). It takes time for them to be made (25-30min) be prepared for the weight time. They are very filling and sweet. The recipe they use has a slight egg taste so it takes away from the experience. I would probably go back again if I had a urge for the pancakes and didn’t feel like driving to Orlando. The price is pretty standard because of the process to make.

This is the CUTEST little place and OMG. Green tea soft serve ice cream!!! (I have been looking for this since I visited Japan 20 years ago!) And the staff is super friendly. Oli made the BEST bing-su (mango cheesecake and matcha red bean are my favorites so far–like a freshly fallen snow cone/bowl)! ✨

We tried mango pancakes and Nutella Taiyaki.
Pancakes was delightful.. Nutella taiyaki had lots of Nutella in it. Both were good.

Really enjoyed this place. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the shaved ice was light, refreshing, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the whole spot has a clean, welcoming vibe. A great little treat when you’re in the mood for something sweet.

This place is so cute! The menu items are aimed towards the sweet side (but there are a few exceptions). The employee whom took the time to explain and answer all of my questions… you are a gem! My first time here, I was a bit out of the loop and had so many questions. This sweet employee took the time to explain every menu item I inquired about. Now on to the food/drinks… I’ve been there a few times now and I’ve tried something different each time. Each visit I have left happy and with a delicious and unique drink. The tea options are so good. You won’t be disappointed with whichever flavor you choose. The giggly pancakes are delicious, as well as the little fishy cakes with different filling options. If you’re wanting to try something new, something sweet, or craving a refreshing and flavorful tea… I highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Just like another person said, I feel like I was scammed. The food is way overpriced. $10 for some dry and salty fried chicken and $15 for pancakes covered with a very artificial syrup that is so sweet that you need to drink a lot of water to recover from. It’s disgusting, I couldn’t eat it. It doesn’t surprise me that the place was empty. Don’t waste your time and money on this place. There are way better restaurants in Lakeland at a lower price.
