At Kibo, we believe the term hope can answer all life’s problems. From what to eat to where to eat at, Hope is your answer. Derived our name from the Japanese interpretation of Hope (希望 kibō), Kibo Sushi House was born simply because we believe greatly in hope. Hope – in the sense that if you work hard, you will always be rewarded one way or another. As we embed this belief into our restaurant, from selecting fresh, local ingredients; to cooking them with love and serving them to your table with our bright smiles; we hope that you enjoy and appreciate all that we put into your favourite dishes.
Relaxed, brick-walled Japanese eatery serving traditional fare such as sushi & noodle dishes.

Reviews
The person who waited at our table was very precise in taking the order, very helpful with her recommendations, and attentive in general.
The food is pleasant, exactly what you might expect from a North American sushi restaurant. And everything was fresh.
Salmon was decent flavour a little soggy, cuts could have could have been more defined
came for the tempura which I heard was the best ever, I must’ve had an off batch that day. Shrimp was mushy inside, no bite at all.
California roll was good but did not hold together when dipped in soya.
Spicy salmon was definitely not what I expected, a sweet mayo type sauce really threw me off
I did enjoy the miso soup, it was well balanced almost like it came out of a package
Garden salad was quite enjoyable, mixed greens was a nice touch, dressing had a nice flavour I just could not clearly identify but was the best part of my meal
I had the most amazing sushi experience — this is hands down the best sushi spot in Toronto!
The karaage was absolutely delicious, especially the honey garlic flavor — seriously a must-try!
Their platters were generous, beautifully arranged, and everything tasted incredible.
The sashimi was fresh and top quality.
This is the perfect restaurant for a special occasion like an anniversary or birthday.
Highly recommended — can’t wait to come back!
Great bang for your buck Sushi location with nice servers. Portion sizes are big for what you pay for. Ordered the 2 person meal set that featured appetizers and rolls which we enjoyed. The rolls are good while the side dishes aren’t exactly the highest quality although still satisfactory. For quick, easy and relatively cheap sushi this is a good spot.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the servers always make me feel welcome.
I’ve been coming to this location for several years, and the quality of their sushi never fails to make me happy.
