The sushi was very good. It’s definitely more of an order to go place but if you’re on the go and just want to take a break and eat they have tables. If you eat in, they could serve in something better than just to go containers, red solo cups, and bottled water from Costco. Again, sushi was very good but probably would take it to go.

With all the positive Facebook reviews we had to try Kibo House. It was good. Really liked the Sushi and it was much better than the Hibachi. While this was just as expensive as regular hibachi I didn’t like that it was swimming in sauce. If you want fast hibachi this is good option. Not great quality hibachi but good. Id go back for more sushi.

Kibo House never disappoints. The price point perfectly matches the quality and generous portion sizes. With all the positive reviews I had very high expectations. Unfortunately, I feel as though I was let down. The chicken was overcooked and the shrimp was very chewy. There were very limited vegetables other than the squash. The side salad literally was nothing more than some iceberg lettuce and a styrofoam box the worst I have ever had. The spring rolls were very fresh and crispy as was a crab rangoon hot and tasty. The carryout boxes are very deceiving as it looks like you have a lot of rice but not so when you stick your fork into raise plastic container.I feel as though the value for the cost is lacking and do not see myself returning.

Kibo House has long been on our list to try.
Atmosphere of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It was dirty (floors and tables) and the bathrooms were in a poor state of repair and cleanliness. They were also BLASTING awful country/rap Christian music, which seems like a poor business decision in such a diverse area of Toledo.
My wife got Sushi and I got a Dinner Hibachi Bento. Everything was “alright” but overpriced for the quality. The Teriyaki Steak was incredibly bland and medium-well approaching well done despite them asking how I would like it cooked (medium). Portions were small for the price, however the actual portion sizes were what I would expect.
Take your business elsewhere, you’ll have better food for less money and the atmosphere won’t make your skin crawl.

This is a counter service restaurant. There’s no beer or sake available to enjoy with the food.
The food is ok, my salmon in the bento box was small and a bit overdone. Gyoza and the roll were good. Miso had a bit of a unique smokey flavor, unfortunately served in Styrofoam container
