Fantastic. Really good fresh made sushi and the other items were top notch as well. We had the tiger roll, salmon roll and Katsu chicken. All were excellent. We also had the Gyoza as an appetizer. Go and try this place. It will be worth it.

Was my first time here, but definitely returning in the future to try other dishes. I had the sashimi dinner which comes with assorted types and choice of a mini donburi. I chose the mini “roe” don, hoping for ikura, but it came only with 3 color tobiko which is fine. The sashimi was tender and tasty. There was also a large selection of sashimi from the paper menu, the menu where you have to mark how many you’d like to order. They even had uni and it was about $22 for 2 pieces of nigiri sushi! I went with 2 pieces of ikura instead which came with way more rice than ikura. My fiance got the chirashidon which came in a cute wooden bathtub bowl. Both of our orders included miso soup which came without tofu or seaweed. Mini salads were also provided with our orders. They gave us plastic spoons which I thought was odd. The atmosphere was unexpectedly loud because there was a larger party behind us and they were obviously drinking and one guy wouldn’t stop talking loudly. The restaurant also has a few TVs on the walls and was broadcasting golf and other sports. Overall, food and service was great, but the place isn’t too fancy.

Hands down the best spicy garlic edamame I have ever had and the Ki house sushi roll was out of this world.

Definitely fresh sushi, not frozen. I use to sell fish, so I could tell right away the sushi was fresh or top quality. The price is very reasonable. The oyster shot was great. The decoration is cool and has a nice vibe to it. We also got the rib eye to see what it was like. Top notch as well. It is worth the drive if you don’t live nearby.

Excellent sushi and service! This place has phenomenal food. They are open for dine in again. Super cleanly and fast paced service. The waiters were very polite and made my first time here a pleasant experience. The lunch menu is my favorite because its affordable for a perfect portion size. I definitely recommend coming here! I look forward to coming back.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants that I’ve been to. The food is great, the service is good and the place is cool. The best dish we had is the calamari. The lobster balls were also a big hit. However, I wished that they used bigger shrimp in thwir tempura. They’ve got a lot of choices in their menu.

Update: The waiters were more in the know about the menu. I didn’t want to return here because the fish wasn’t as fresh but the sashimi and boat options were reasonable, affordable, and delicious.

High quality fish but way overpriced. Mother’s Day dinner last night at Ki Sushi in Buena Park. Very expensive. Roughly $282 for 5 people (including 20% tip). The food was high quality, but the portions were not big. I was a bit hungry when we left the restaurant, but everyone else was satisfied. I like the fact that diners are spread out in a large space inside the restaurant. Personally, I would choose to dine at Kira Kira in La Mirada instead of Ki Sushi in Buena Park

This was our first time here and we enjoyed ourselves. Great customer service; the servers were attentive and nice. We had the Dream Boat and a few sashimi sides, worth it. It was fresh and delicious. The saki was pretty good too. All in all, It’s a small place and it fills up fast. The food is great, the service is excellent. I recommend this place.
