Finally!!! A DELICIOUS Indian restaurant that’s in the area and we don’t have to hike one hour to get to! The venue is so nice, cute and cozy. Lots of nice decor and nice wine options. Delicious Indian beer.

Really extensive list of menu options—several of which I tried that were very delicious! The prices were a bit high for the quantity of food you receive, so this definitely would not be my first option for an on-a-budget dinner. The service was also not great—wait staff was very passive, inattentive, and dull. If you’re taking food out, this isn’t a terrible option, but it wouldn’t be my first recommendation if you’re looking for a fun, inviting dining experience.

Small cute place. Food is just meh but if you are in oak park and really want Indian it will do. Their food is a bit odd. The Dal Makhani came out yellow. I’ve had this dish across the world and it’s always been black/brown. They use several types of beans instead of the traditional two. In all fairness it says this ok their menu so this isn’t a complaint. It’s just an odd way to prepare it. They also only serve beer and wine which is also disappointing. You are better off driving to Devon for some better Indian.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and I’ve had enough. The restaurant has a specific atmosphere. Employees are sitting at the bar and eating something. At the same time, they are watching something in their phones with the sound turned on at full power. Is this respect for visitors? I think not. The second time I went in and ordered a curry chicken, telling the waiter that I wanted the one they offered at lunch hours for $9. When they brought me the bill, it was for $23. When I asked why it was so expensive, they told me that they brought me a regular portion and it was bigger. The waiter didn’t even ask what portion I was ordering and didn’t understand what I meant when I pointed him in the direction where the advertising of dishes at lunch hours weighed. I must admit to you, I would never pay $23 for this dish. The chicken was dry and not tasty. They brought it to me in a cracked plate. I didn’t even finish it. The portion of rice is very small. I don’t recommend this place. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby where you can have a great time. I will never come back here again and I don’t advise you.

The owner is a drunk and there is a very old blonde woman who smells terrible as she waits the tables. She also reeked of alcohol and kept suggesting tofu from the neighboring restaurant. I have no clue how this place lasted for 25 years with the type of service they have. The food was cold, bland, undercooked, and tasted like it was frozen. When I complained about my meal, I was verbally attacked by the owner and the old woman who seems like maybe she is his girlfriend or something. They yelled and cussed at me directly in front of the only other person who unfortunately chose to dine there that night. There was no excuse for how terrible the food was or how they treated me. The owner was so drunk he only kept saying I was ugly and comparing me to the old woman serving tables? How this had anything to do with how awful my food is I have no clue. These people are rude, misogynistic, and can barely reheat their disgusting frozen entrees. Literally any other place in Oak Park is better.

This is the only Indian restaurant in Oak Park and being an Indian I really had high hopes from this one. The only good part was the decor of the restaurant. Heres what we ordered
