The ingredients is halal even shop dont have halal cert. Boss have the Halal cert for ingredients,they hire muslim at the kitchen. Environment is nice, after eat can go sea side walk. Food serving is fast. We have company lunch there with muslim frieng too. For those who is vegetarian, they can prepare vegetarian white tomyam, fried vege too.
Price is reasonable. 11dishes for 20peoples 2 table with two bottles of drinks cost us about RM 737. We have lou sang for CNY, RM55.
Overall is good.
Food we order: Tomyam soup, miang kam, papay salad, salted egg sotong, otak otak, kailan, thai taukua, chamon fried egg, asparagus with prawn,ginger lala, lou sang

Great food with a wide variety. Fresh ingredients. Spice level is not too extreme.
Service is friendly, but don’t expect good English.

If you enjoy thai food,then it suits you. The pandan chicken is best, mostly all food is well served and has good taste. You won’t be disappointed to dine here. Very recommended.

Used to be super packed but it is a bit more chill now – even on a Christmas Eve. Service is always super attentive and fast. Great flavors on the food and consistent! Distance just a little outside even from bayan Lepas. Great for family size gatherings and its beachside so the vibes are nice!

Latest visit : Since the last visit was quite good so I decided to come again but disappointed this time. All the dishes tasted weren’t on par. Tastes are bland. Their food quality really couldn’t be maintained. It’s just nearly 3 months interval & the taste is so different
Last few month : Used to visit often few years back but stopped since last 2 years as their food quality dropped. Decided to give it a go again today & surprisingly they improved. It’s not the best but quite delicious. Service is prompt & serving time is fast, although the crowd is there. The environment is cool & spacious. Price is affordable & wide menu selection.

One of two Khuntai restaurants in Penang (the other one is in Butterworth). Tomyum and steamed Siakap fish (sea bass) are highly recommended. Try the mango salad (kerabu mangga) as well.
Come early before 7:00pm to get the best tables next to the beach. We came around 6:45pm when the restaurant was only about 20% full and got all our orders within 15 minutes. There were plenty of parking spots as well, in front of the restaurant.

We were suppose to visit the nearby seafood restaurant however it will only open by 1pm, so we decided to pick a nearby restaurant, and here we are. It was spacious here, suitable for big group. Not too crowded as it was Thursday afternoon. Fast serving. Plenty of car park, toilet was clean and all the staff was friendly too. Food tastes good, but if you ask about freshness I would said 3 over 5. Can be improved. On the spot the waitress offer us Kampung Durian with decent price. Overall experience was good.
