The restaurant features a Thai-inspired design within a light industrial setting. It offers a spacious dining area with numerous tables, though it is not air-conditioned.
Food service is ok. The establishment provides authentic Thai cuisine in good portions. Given the availability of large tables, it is well-suited for family gatherings.

The standard of the food is not the same as how it used to be. However, this review is mainly focused for the restaurant owner/management to rectify bigger issues on the children’s safety while using the playground. I understand there is a disclaimer stating that the parents are fully responsible for the safety while using the playground but the point is, how safe is the playground for the kids. Do not escape by saying it’s on parents. I dine in on the 27th Feb and turn out to be a nightmare for my family. My 7 year old was sitting on the swing and was pushed by another older child where my daughter fell and hurt the back of her head. It was swollen. A very bad swelling that I rushed her to hospital. The seat of the wooden swing is smooth where kids can slip and easily fall. worst case is there’s nothing beneath the swing to protect if the children fall. Only tiles! I was also surprised by how the staff behave in such an emergency situation where my child was screaming and crying of pain. no sense of urgency as my husband requested for ice cubes. either they don’t understand or was not acting swiftly. Or I wonder this has happened before that your staffs took it lightly. Such a disappointment. When you set up a play area, make sure it is kids friendly and maintain it. otherwise don’t set up at all. It is natural for kids to be attracted to play area and would definitely want to play. No matter how protective the parents are, accidents can’t be avoided. So making sure it is at least safe with soft floor mat when they fall around the play area is the least the owner/management could have done. Customers are there to enjoy the meals. Not to run around kids at the play area.

Loved it! The Klang Khun Thai branch is consistently tastier than the other branches I’ve tried, flavours are bolder, portions are generous and service is fast. Highly recommended!!!

I want to share my bad experience here. We literally felt cheated when we brought some clients for dinner there. They charged us rm138 for one whole cooked fish ( sweet sour kerapu/siakap) . That day we ordered 3 fish and just for fish we paid rm400++. The funny part is how come all three fish weight the same as the price was same?? sotong Kam heong dish perplate was rm68!!!! Ridiculous!! The mgmt of khunthai pls take note ….that day our bill crossed Rm1k. Pls don’t overcharge as you like!! Others who visit khuntai klg pls beware of this scam!!

place is located abit at the back of the shop lot but with nagovator app you won got lost.
atmosphere is good, place is spacy and with lots of fans so not really bad
food are acceptable, tomyam sup toward salty type, rice abit cold when arrive and the clean plate given are slightly oily but not a deal breaker.
overal they still alright and will revisit to try other food option.

Honestly the food and service don’t even deserved a single star. This restaurant atmosphere is so good. I have been visiting this restaurant for nearly 20 years now. With all foreign workers and disrespectful service. I will never ever bring my family or anyone here. Food is not fresh and the taste is completely gone. It’s so sad to know nostalgic places like this has gone to thrash. Please please don’t go here. I recommend to try new location.

Came here after 7 or 8 years to see how good the food was. It was absolutely horrible. We ordered a seafood tomyam soup and the squid was raw, as if they put it in after they made it. Other than that, the food was just OK. Orange juice was super watery.

Very unique Thailand style design restaurant. With a lots of Koi fish and children playground available.
Foods serving speed is very fast. Real fast.
Visit during Sunday, more than enough seat even if you come in big group.
Price moderate.
Not air-conditioned. Can be quite hot when you getting spicy and when food is served with charcoal.
Personal opinion, food taste is about average.

So disappointed with this time’s visit. Portions were small and taste not as great as before.
We’re super shocked with the chicken cashew nut dish which we ordered large but the portion turned out like small. We even double confirmed with the staff that it’s what we ordered and he said “yes large” , chuckled a little and left, I guess even he realized how small the portion was for large
Shrimp omelette barely had any shrimps while the stir fried sweet potato leaves consisted mostly of the stems.
Our bill came up to rm133 for 4 dishes (all large size):
– Seafood tomyam
– Stir fried Chicken with cashew nut
– Shrimp omelette
– Stir fried sweet potato leave
Service is still good & friendly but don’t think we’d return in a long while with this kind of food 🙁
So sad cos we really like this place 🙁

Authentic Thai food. Great hospitality, great food choice. Definitely a wonderful place to dine. Would highly recommend the otak-otak seafood, tomyam, kerabu chicken leg and fried tou fu. Steam fish is also a must, to enjoy the authentic sauce with slight spiciness.
The place can be quite crowded, especially during the evening service and special occasion (e.g. Mothers’ Day). Would suggest to make reservation if you are planning to dine during this period. Other wise, there should be tables available and ample spaces.
