Dined at this fine establishment with my family for the first time last night and really enjoyed everything about it. The restaurant was charming, the service was prompt and polite and there was even a gentleman playing lovely tunes on a keyboard. I will say that the food portions were on the smaller side but for me personally, that’s the way I prefer it and especially if it’s really good. And I will say, the halibut I ordered and the chicken cacciatore my wife order was fabulous. Same can be said about the lemon cake we had for desert. For as long as we’ve lived in Carson City, I’m a little disappointed in myself for not coming down to eat here sooner. We’ll be returning for sure!

Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and the food was excellent. My salmon and his steak were both perfectly cooked. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly but we did have a bit of an awkward exchange because his wife (the manager) had forgotten to record our reservation. We were seated upstairs which was nice because we could both hear and see the live musician playing the saxophone.
All of the staff were very friendly and I was really impressed by how hard they work – and how often they go up and down the stairs, usually carrying heavy trays.
There were a couple smaller things that lead to my only choosing four stars. We decided to try the pear salad so our server asked my husband since his meal came with a house salad did he want her to just remove that. He asked if he could just have mushrooms instead and she said yes…but we were surprised to be charged for the mushrooms since in the conversation she made it sound like that could be instead of his salad. I know it’s been a rough year for restaurants but I was also a bit surprised to be charged $6 for little bitty glasses of soda water.

Great Good. Gluten-free options! Thalia was a wonderful waitress. Nice they are open a little later than other restaurants in the area. Highly recommend!

Kristopher’s is a wonderful Italian restaurant! Every item on the menu sounds so good, it is hard to make a decision. The service is quick and cheerful. The interior is beautiful and they often have live music like tonight with the talented piano player. I had the Shrimp pasta in lemon sauce and it was delicious! It is always a special occasion to visit Kristopher’s!
Another visit to Kristopher’s tonight. The food was amazing once again, the Shrimp Penne Pasta with Rosemary was delicious! We had Tiramisu and their specialty bread pudding, both were wonderful. Our server was Tony, an extremely talented piano player. He played classic rock in a classic piano style and it was phenomenal!! His Queen Bohemian Rhapsody was fantastic! For a truly wonderful dining experience in Northern Nevada, nothing can beat Kristopher’s!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here. We made a reservation for 6pm and arrived 10 minutes early and got seated right away. We shared a pizza and salad. We weren’t super hungry so this was a nice portion size for us. We loved the Arnold Palmer drink- it was perfectly blended. I would recommend this place.

I had the tortellini in cream sauce and it was very delicious. Also tried the bruschetta which was very good and the house made bread pudding was outstanding and we also tried the vanilla bean cream brulee cheesecake which was amazing.

It is the best Italian restaurant! Food, service, ambiance is just perfect. We had their Alfredo fettuccine pasta and veggie pizza with pesto sauce and both were so delicious plus their vanilla cheesecake is just amazing.
Their sever Allyson is very kind and we really liked her hospitality!

Good ambiance. Well thought-out menu. Tasty food with plenty of variety (not just a pasta stop).
The bar is fully stocked and the bartenders menu is intriguing enough to make you want to try more things. The wine list is robust and has plenty of options for each connoisseur.
The servers try hard.
