Tried the Khorasan combo and it exceeded my expectation. The portion size was huge and everything was cooked really well. The chicken had great char and was very juicy, the kofta kebab was flavorful, and the lamb was tender. I ordered it to go and their service was super fast. They have delightful ambiance with plenty of seating inside and even traditional Afghan seating in the front.
Everything was served over their qabuli rice with a few sauces and a fresh cucumber salad on the side. The green sauce especially added a nice kick.
Overall, great flavor and very generous portions — easily enough for two meals. Would definitely order this again.

Stopped by Khorasan Kabab today and had one of the best Afghan food experiences I’ve ever had! The kababs and rice were incredibly juicy, tender, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
The combo platter with different kababs over kabuli rice was full of flavor, and the naan, salad, and sauces paired perfectly with everything. I’ll definitely be back again.
Brother Mehrab made us feel truly welcome and at home, and his warm hospitality took the whole experience to another level. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on, and we really appreciated the complimentary green tea and sweets at the end of our meal — such a thoughtful touch.
Overall, amazing food, beautiful decor, and outstanding service. Easy 5 stars!

The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner and the servers were friendly. My only complaint was that our appetizers came out first, way ahead of our beverages. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the drinks came a minute after the food but we must have had our appetizer plates and bread for at least 10 to 15 minutes with no drinks. My husband thought maybe they were freshly making my coconut water from real coconuts but when I asked the 2nd time for our drinks, our server went to the back of the dining room, pulled our drinks out of a fridge in prepackaged containers, and brought them over to us. There was no reason our drinks should have taken that long. Aside from that, it was a great experience and could definitely see us returning!

Khorasan Kabab has some of the best Afghan food in New Jersey. We ordered the family platter for 10 people, and everything was cooked perfectly—so juicy and delicious. You can truly tell how much care goes into their food.
The kids ordered the chapli burger, kabob wrap, and zinger burger, and they absolutely loved it. We have very picky eaters, and this was the first time they all enjoyed every single dish!
The hospitality is next level. The owner welcomes guests as if they’re coming into his own home. You can genuinely feel the warmth and love throughout the restaurant.
Highly recommend giving it a try—we loved it!

I’m not sure how I haven’t left a review already, but we absolutely love this place!! The food was plentiful and delicious, the owner was very attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for our family gathering! He was also kind enough to take our picture and celebrate our graduates with us. I can’t wait to come here again! THANK YOU!!

Hands down one of the best afghan restaurants I have been to. From the food to the staff to the atmosphere. The lamb shanks was so fall of the bone tender and the gravy it was in was so delicious. The grilled platter for two was enough for 3 people to eat with some left overs. And the prices were so reasonable especially for the portions you get. If you haven’t been here make sure you put this on your list of restaurants to try. 10 out of 10.

Went there tonight and hands down the best experience for a family dinner. Fast and friendly service. Delicious food, beautiful presentation and classy cutlery. Owner was extremely hospitable and when we inquired about a drink we saw in the fridge on the way out after paying the check, gave it to us to try on the house. Def will be returning here soon.

We very much enjoyed our meal at Khorasan Kabab. The humus is outstanding. The falafel was also quite good.
For our entree, the filet mignon Kabab was definitely our favorite.
