Reviews
The food took so long to arrive that we honestly thought it was not coming. When it finally did, it was good, but that is the only reason this is not a one-star review. To make matters worse, entire sections of the menu were not even available.
The atmosphere was also frustrating. The server’s shoes were so loud that they kept clanking across the floor, and she was speaking so loudly on the phone that we could hear her conversations from across the restaurant.
At the end, we asked to split the bill in half and were told the restaurant has never done that. Watching the staff scramble with the POS system was frustrating and unprofessional.
Overall, the food does not make up for the poor service, the noise, the long waits, and the lack of professionalism. If you are considering Khazana, skip the dine-in and order takeout instead.
Our hostess for the evening made it all the more special. I did not catch her name but the service was excellent. She was very attentive to our group and very cordial. I greatly appreciated her warmth and patience. Overall, we had a spectacular evening and I had a memorable birthday.
I called in the evening and was told I had a confirmed table for 9:30 PM and that the full menu would be available. I arrived on time but kept waiting while other people, even walk-ins were seated before me.
Every time I asked, I was told “you’re next,” but that wasn’t true. Later they suddenly said 9:30 was just a “reference time” and they don’t really take same-day reservations. That’s not what I was told on the phone.
After arguing and endless waiting , we finally got a table, but it was dirty with used napkins still there and none of the Valentine’s setup. Then we found out the menu was completely different and very limited compared to what we were promised.
I understand holidays are busy, but this was poor management, bad communication, and unfair handling of guests. We wasted hours and left without eating.
Management seriously needs to fix how they handle reservations and customers.
I will never visit this restaurant again and will not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant especially having special occasion with your friend or family member.
Ordered a cheese cake which supposed to be special but not tasted that great.
Over all, food tasted okay but not to the standards of sanjeev kapoor.
However, the pricing is hard to justify. Paying $30 for 6 momos felt excessive for the portion size. What really stood out was seeing the very next day on Uber Eats that the same chicken biryani we ordered in the restaurant was offered as 2-for-1 for $21 — while we paid $32 for a single order dining in. That price difference is significant and makes it difficult to feel good about the value.
I understand there are costs associated with dining in, but such a large gap in pricing makes the in-restaurant experience feel overpriced compared to takeout options.
Overall, lovely atmosphere and good food — but the value for money just did not align.
I left all this food on table you can see in picture
