We found this place accidentally as we were shopping for some furnitue at Value City after moving from Chicago to Aurora. I tried almost all the Indian restaurants in Chicago and around. But Khas is special with its unique buffet concept and never disappointed with what they had to offer. My friend said he had a bad experience for the only time he went but I tested this place 6 times in the space of 1 month and the food is delicious and with great variety. The Saturday Vegetarian buffet is one of the best buffet I have had in 6 years of my living in Chicago and the Biriyani night was equally good. There are places where all the biriyanis taste the same with just the meat or vegetable changing but here, each biriyani has its own flavor. And all this food comes at a very affordable price.
I have never written reviews for restaurants before but I wanted to write this one as I want more people to try this place and encourage good Indian restaurants. Ambience and service can be more professional to cater to larger audience but for my fellow Desis, food is of utmost importance and they got that part right.

Khas has helped organize our baby’s first birthday. All our guests loved the food and we loved their service. Food was hot and refilled immediately. We could not be more happier as all our guests had very good time. If you are planning for a party, ask for manager Nithin.
We also attended their dosa night and loved it too. Apart from dosa you have other foods and deserts.

Been to this place twice so far. The first experience was bad and the second was worse… the food tastes bad, the service sucks. I have been to Indian restaurants that are bad but this tops it all. The ambiance is bad, food is bad and above all the service is bad.. Imagine my plight when I go in for a chat night and find out they are out of half the items on Menu at 7:00 PM and who puts garlic in Bhel Puri.
