The food was served very quickly. We also ordered dessert — a coconut-based dessert, which was absolutely amazing. The staff were very nice and friendly.
When we went, there was a long wait, and we had to line up. I would recommend booking a table in advance, as it’s definitely a better option
I walked in hungry and walked out spiritually transformed.
First of all, their pork bone soup should honestly come with a warning label: “May cause instant happiness.” Rich, punchy, and the kind of flavour that makes you question every soup you’ve had before.
Then there’s the som tam. Oh. My. Goodness.
I ordered it twice… and yes, I finished both BY MYSELF
No regrets. Only pride.
The pork belly? Crunchy, fatty, and basically the hero we all deserve.
If it were socially acceptable to clap when food arrives, I absolutely would.
Will I come back? Of course. Try and stop me.
Plus, they have daily promos you definitely don’t want to miss, and the whole vibe feels like you’ve been teleported straight into a Thai night market—minus the humidity but with all the flavour.
Foods:
– Don Pork Loin (Tuesday $9.9): 9/10 (delicious, well-balanced flavor, slightly spicy, includes soy-marinated egg, good for a creamy texture)
– Big Mama Pork (Hot pot – $29.90): 8/10 (okay at first, but a bit too sour later, meatballs had a slightly gamey smell)
Vibe: 10/10, looks very much like Thai street food
The waiting time for food was a bit long. I know the restaurant is busy, but the wait for the Big Mama Pork was over 30 minutes.
We had the seafood salad, beef, pork neck, minced pork rice and the grilled hotpot combo — everything was so good. Super fresh ingredients and the sauces were next level, honestly couldn’t stop eating.
The only downside for me was the fried meat, which was a bit tough (still tasty, but my jaw got a workout ).
Great vibes, great food. Would 100% come back!
This Thai restaurant in the alley was good. My friend and I were on a hunt to try new Thai restaurant in the city.
Food was good, quite tasty and authentic. I had crispy pork on rice. Gravy was delicious, crispy pork was average but the soup tasted very good too. It was quite busy around lunch time. Price is reasonable. You can get a meal combo with drink for around $20.
I’ll definitely come back to try other dishes. Thank you for your service.
Out of all the dishes they offer we really enjoyed their deep fried pork loin as it was super crispy on the outside and juicy within, perfectly well with the soy sauce on the side! We also really enjoyed their crispy marinated pork loin which was served with crispy garlic on the side. We’re a big garlic lover for sure their crying tiger – marinated beef was also a crowd favourite too! Aside from their promotional dishes we thought their tom yum hotpot was an absolute delight especially with the crispy pork and pork balls within! We also did not think we’d be super impressed with their cocktail jug but we totally cleared our glasses as it was super refreshing after all that heavy food
They are currently having a $9.90 dish promotion with different dishes priced at $9.90 everyday only until 4th January 2026, so you don’t want to miss out!

Ordered these 3 and the crispy pork slices and each one is so good
Also the way they decorated the alleyway and sitting area vibes is so nice
Price wise it’s about $17-$22 for a dish (probably normal for melb price nowadays i guess?)
Overall recommended!
