Love this place! Everytime I’ve been for lunch it’s packed — great food, great prices, if you’re looking for where locals eat, this is it. I love the Khao Soy here, the broth has excellent flavor. The chicken satay is lightly herbed and also nice. We also had samosas and the kids had chicken and rice (Khao man gai). Everything is tasty and the kitchen is super fast. Highly recommended, I love eating here, it’s delicious.

Food & atmosphere as authentic as it can be! I had khao soi chicken and it is nice. I would have ordered the khao soi beef if i had more space in my stomach. Will certainly come here again.
Side note: This place is near the mosque. So it is convenient if you need to perform your prayer too

I really enjoyed eating here. I ordered khao soi and it was very tasty. The curry was rich and flavorful, not too spicy, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The portion was generous and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. A great place to try local food. I would definitely come back again.

Great halal spot in Chiang Mai — just a short walk from Masjid Ban Ho
Tried:
Chicken wonton soup – light but packed with flavor, proper comfort bowl.
Po pia (Thai spring rolls) – crispy outside, juicy inside, with that spicy Thai kick ️
Plus point: the staff can speak English, so ordering was easy and smooth

Khao Soi Islam is the definition of an authentic Chiang Mai culinary experience. The setting is simple and unpretentious, putting all the focus squarely on the food.
This is arguably the most authentic bowl of Khao Soi you can find; the broth is rich, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the flavors are deep and complex without being cluttered. It is profoundly delicious and a mandatory stop for anyone visiting the city. Don’t expect fancy decor—just expect a world-class, simple, and unforgettable meal.

This place is a MUST try in Chiangmai. Brown rice noodle (Papa sea) with coconut milk soup is my all-time favourite. Khao soi beef is always nice as well as beef soup and satay skewer!

We visited this local halal restaurant and absolutely loved the food! Tried their Khao Soi, chicken and shrimp mixed dumplings, and both beef and chicken biryani, everything was delicious. We also had a few of their coconut desserts, plus their orange juice and lemonade, which were really refreshing! The prices are very reasonable, making it a perfect spot if you’re looking for tasty halal food on a budget. Definitely worth checking out!

My favourite spot to have delicious breakfast. Tendered beef with rice, and chicken Khao Soi dish, alongside with the crispy crunchy samosas!
Also it is a halal friendly restaurant and the staff are friendly and hospitable, with wonderful smiles!

Typical Thai, Chiang Mai: friendly without being pretentious, authentic, local, and simple. The service is pleasant, friendly, and typically Thai. Everything is very quick and effortless. The atmosphere is familial, from the kitchen to the service to the guests. Solo travelers, professionals, students, couples, and families of up to eight people, often with children, come here. It’s not particularly loud; everything moves along calmly. You eat at steel tables, sitting on steel stools. Guests are welcomed as if it were the most natural thing in the world. I had Khao Soi with seafood, very tasty, well-balanced, harmonious in flavor—simply delicious. The lime juice on ice was served immediately. Six additional spices and sauces were also provided at the table for those who wanted more. An exciting blend of Thai, Islamic, noodle soup, and street food.
