What a gem this place is. Walked in to friendly customer service and a modern, calm, and clean environment. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was served quick while still being hot and fresh. Everything we got was DELICIOUS! We got medium spice, which to us had no spice, but thankfully the side of chili spice they brought did the trick. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

We absolutely love Khao Sen!! The servers are kind and helpful, the ambiance is tastefully peaceful with soft music and minimal but beautiful decor and lighting.
I have tried 4 main dishes here- the Khao Soi which is a delicious creamy, savory, spicy noodle soup with chicken, the Sen Lek Pak Ruam, a delicious savory vegetable noodle soup, the Khao Khai Jiao Pu which is a delicious slightly sweet crab omelette draped over rice, and the Khao Kai Yang which is a pretty good grilled chicken and rice dish with a spicy twangy sauce on the side. The Thai tea is delicious, and the boba and other teas and milks are very good, including the chocolate pink milk! The Moonlit Matcha (this is a special, not on the regular menu) was very tasty, too! We have also tried the Thai Tea Custard which is quite good, and the Thai Donuts which are very tasty and different! They’re almost like a thick funnel cake texture and flavor mixed with a little bit of a hush puppy corn flavor.
Overall, we love Khao Sen and will continue to come back for their delicious meals, drinks, and desserts! I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family!

We have now eaten here 3x. Each time we have tried something different. Every meal has been exceptional. We have yet to have something we did not like. Even the kids wonton soup is delicious and a generous portion for a kids size. And we always have enough food for the next day. The staff has been excellent and welcoming. The atmosphere is very laid back and family friendly.

It was ready at the asked for time. It was spicy because we love it that way. I got there early and next time I know to get there on time. I got the curry with noodles and chicken. I ordered it hot, which some places do not make it particularly hot, this lovely spot showed up and it was nice but not overpowering.

Great restaurant in a newer development in Fuquay, menu clear and easy to understand. Choices varied with the bowls, and portions were of decent size and the food was presented in a visually pleasing and expedient manner.

Khao Sen is a wonderful neighborhood gem in Fuquay. It is unassuming, but don’t let that fool you. The food is fantastic! Everything is authentic and fresh. My go to is the tom kha – it is a huge bowl and has so many complex flavors that work together perfectly. I like medium spice and they can adjust to meet your needs. The pad pak is also a fave, especially if I know I want leftovers to eat for a few days. Come in the spring for the mango sticky rice. Yum yum yum.
The service here is also great. Becca is my favorite person, as she is so sweet and helpful and anticipates every need. Everyone else is also friendly and they keep your drinks full and keep you happy.
