NOT AGAIN. How do you have beef and broccoli with sweet red sauce???? Same thing with the chicken and broccoli?? A waste of Money. This is fake Chinese – they need to change it to Asian fusion or FIRE YOUR CHEF. Last time I came we ordered a few dishes and it was the same issue, every dish has this sweet red sauce. It’s not authentic Chinese like Tengs. When we spoke to the younger guy with our feedback he said they improved their beef and broccoli, that’s why I gave it a second chance. And the food is drenched in sauce with just 3pcs of broccoli.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Khao Halal Chinese! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The Fish Chilli was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked and just the right amount of spice. The Hakka Noodles and the American Chicken Chopsuey was a standout – savory, crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the Mango Lassi was incredibly refreshing and creamy – one of the best we’ve had!
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a flavorful meal and friendly service. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!!

Awful food … nothing Chinese about it
I bought these :
Vegi roll : so small in size then when I buy from any real Chinese halal. Awful
Fried vegi rice: not even close to fried rice more like palao from desi restaurants and vegis in it were not how fried vegi rice have from Chinese, and vegi were hard, awful
I ordered 2 soups: chicken corn soup which was not at all good but hot and sour was okay in taste but both soups serving size was so small, I bought large size for $8 each
Sesame chicken : was like tandoori chicken color and taste was nothing of sesame chicken from Chinese: awful
Serving size in each item was small , not worth the money they charged …. Don’t waste your time and money …. Not good halal Chinese option

Lassi came with a straw already in the drink which I thought the dasher did but upon calling the store I found out they did. I did not like that, it risks tampering with the drink. The Lassi was watery consistency which I did not like. The sesame chicken was ok, it was salty more than sweet but came cold so I couldn’t really enjoy it. The lassi spilled everywhere because I didn’t want to drink from an uncovered straw and they put too much and that kind of ruined my day. Average portion size, food didn’t seem super fresh. Oh and the egg roll they sent with the lunch special was burnt, and they didn’t give me a drink either lol. I wouldn’t order from here again

I went to this restaurant for the first time. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered chili chicken with egg fried rice. The chili chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was not good—it was undercooked and had a bad taste. The egg roll, however, was good. One great thing about this restaurant is that it’s halal and conveniently located close to Adelphi University.

Both white and fried rice were hard. Hakka shrimp was very flavorful but portions were pretty small. Lollipop chicken was the best thing we had. Incredible service.

Just tried out Khao Chinese in Garden City. They opened a few weeks ago near our place. It’s not fancy or fine dining — more like a chill spot to hang out and eat good food.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
We ordered:
• Chicken wings
• Masala fries
• Hakka chicken
• Crispy beef chili
• Chicken fried rice
• Tom yum soup
Everything was tasty. Honestly, it’s way better than most other halal Chinese places we’ve been to. Definitely gonna go back.

Our stop en route from Boston to eastern Long Island was totally worth it. Delicious food, excellent service, piping hot and ready upon arrival. Ahmed is your guy! Tried the Hakka Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Mixed Special Fried Rice, and Crispy Beef Chilli. Loved the Asian Fusion flavors, especially that rice was basmati instead of sticky! Finger licking good. Grand Opening tomorrow!! We’re only here until Memorial Day, but thinking tomorrow’s discount is worth a return lunch visit for that sesame chicken. Check out their Insta!

Had an amazing experience at Khao Halal Chinese! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the sesame chicken and lollipop chicken, both were absolutely delicious. The mango lassi was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean with a nice atmosphere. You can tell they put effort into both the food and the customer experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!
