Absolutely delicious! This Thai food truck in North Shore is a hidden gem. They offer a great variety of options at reasonable prices, and everything is fresh and flavorful. The crispy pork belly is hands down the best!! perfectly crispy and so tasty!. If you’re looking for a great combo, I highly recommend the Crying Tiger with shrimp. it’s the perfect way to try both. The papaya salad (Lao style) is also a must-try, packed with authentic flavors and just the right amount of spice.
Plus, the service is fast and friendly. Highly recommended!
Khan & Phim Thai Food Truck is an absolute gem! I tried the Shrimp Pad Thai, Crispy Pork Belly, Summer Rolls, and Papaya Salad, and every single dish was phenomenal.
The Shrimp Pad Thai was perfectly cooked – the noodles were tender, the shrimp fresh and juicy, and the flavors were spot-on with just the right balance of tangy, sweet, and savory. The Crispy Pork Belly was a highlight – crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The Summer Rolls were light, refreshing, and paired beautifully with their dipping sauce. And the Papaya Salad? Bursting with flavor and the perfect mix of crunch and spice!
On top of the amazing food, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the service was wonderful. I can’t recommend this food truck enough – it’s a must-try for Thai food lovers. I’ll definitely be back for more!
I also have to give a shoutout to their sticky rice with peanut sauce—it’s heavenly and a perfect pairing with the shrimp. And don’t even get me started on the coconut! For just $10, I got the biggest, freshest coconut I’ve ever seen. Honolulu charges $20 for a much smaller one, so this was an amazing deal! Highly recommend stopping by for an unforgettable meal. Five stars all the way!
The menu has 115 options which seems like way too many things to offer but I guess that means you should be able to find *something* you might like. About 20% of the menu displays the price of the menu item but it seems pretty standard throughout. You’re looking at a $15-$20 per entree which is fair/slightly cheaper than other food trucks in the area, however you don’t get as much food as some of these other food trucks give. I think downsizing the menu is a very good idea.
I got the Pad Thai to play it safe as you can tell a lot about a restaurant based on their basic dishes. The dish had everything that is in your typical Pad Thai, however, there was a heavy amount of fish sauce used that was noticeable throughout each bite. This didn’t ruin the meal but it would’ve been nice to not have as much used.
The people running the truck seemed to not care about their service/friendliness. This doesn’t hurt the taste of the food, but any confirmation that you aren’t talking to a wall is nice to have.
Having tried so many other food trucks/restaurants within the area, this one just wasn’t as impressive.
