We stopped at KFC for lunch in Astoria. The server at the counter was friendly. When we got our food, we started to look for a table. Most of the open tables were dirty. We sat at a table along the wall that was between the door and the restroom. This became a thorough fare for people using the restroom and not buying anything. My wife and I both had original fried chicken. They used a different coating on their chicken that tasted different than any KFC we have eaten. The men’s restroom was dirty and there were no paper towels to dry my hands or to use to open the door.

I have never had bad KFC. I was passing through town and hungry so I stopped. Pretty location by the bridge. I ordered a 5 pc Tenders meal to go. It was almost $15. For two sides, a biscuit and a medium drink. The tenders tasted like they were sitting for hours. Not hot or fresh. I ended up feeding most of it to my dog who didn’t mind. That’s such a shame because I really had a taste for what used to be good fried chicken. Suggestion: Try your food before you pull out of the parking lot so if it’s bad you can exchange it hopefully for fresh.

We stop for a take out. The people working there was so confused about everything! They said that they were out of this or that. They didn’t have a clue what they were doing! Won’t ever go back again! Plus the chicken was all dried out and tough. Total garbage!
