Ordered 8 piece meal today looking for to some juicy tender original chicken. I had been talking to my wife for the last two weeks to get some KFC the only thing we got was dried out chicken hard as rocks biscuits. I can believe the KFC crew would be okay giving out those biscuits even using if they utensils to pick them up you would be able to tell they were hard. I guess it was be another 2-3 years before we go again to any KFC location.

We had some craving for fried chicken after 16 days on the cruise fine dining. We even made the call to make sure it’s open before we leave the pier. However, when we arrive this restaurant. the lights in the seating area were off and the door was locked, didn’t see any employees inside the restaurant. My partner called them again in the front door then we saw some staff come to answer the phone then finally they come to unlock the front door and turn the lights on. It was 13:30, did they just start the business?
We ordered two 3 pieces meal combo and request for all white meat, the lady ran back to the kitchen and told me they have enough white meat, but after pay the check, she came back said only have 3 pieces white meat, if I don’t take dark meat then have to wait 20 minutes. I was hungry and don’t want to wait that long so I took it.
The fried chicken was decent, but it just feels get tricked when they told you they have enough white meat but actually not. Also, they seem don’t care if getting business or not, kind of passive aggressive attitude, I don’t think I will ever want to come back here.

We ordered a 6 piece deal yesterday. When we were ordering, we noticed a sign that they were short staffed. There were only two employees noted. We also overheard the previous customer could not obtain soda on their order because they were out. We should have realized that this was a problem location and not placed an order. It was particularly difficult to obtain the items we wanted to choose as individual sides. It was the cashier’s response that there was only a set choice of items, instead of the choices we wanted. They finally agreed to change our order instead of up charging, and at least gave us a refund of the original order they altered.
When we received the take out order at the counter, we were told they only had legs and thighs available.
When we got back to our accomodation, the chicken was so over cooked and dried out, we had to throw out over half of the chicken because it was inedible. As you can tell, this was a particularly disappointing meal and waste of money.

I’ve been here twice In the last year. The first time I went through the drive thru they had NO CHICKEN, only nuggets. I drove away. Today I ordered and paid for a 10 piece original chicken in the app at around 12:00 pm and said I would be there at 2 pm to pick it up. I got there and they had no original chicken. They said they would fry some but I would need to wait 20 minutes. They gave us crispy chicken instead since we didn’t want to wait and the chicken had absolutely no taste. How is this place still in business?? Wish Wendy’s would come back.

So first issue is we were overcharged for the sunday deal on the wings last week, when my boyfriend went in about it he was told only the manager can apply the discount and they didnt do anything about it or warn him ahead of time when he ordered it. No compensation, nothing. He only realized he was overcharged after he came home that night. It’s clearly advertised as the Sunday special in the drive through so that left a bitter taste in my mouth, he even said “20 for $15 wings deal.” He wanted to let it go so I did. Tonight he gets charged the right amount but now the food tastes like rancid, burnt oil and I have a major stomach ache from only 2 pieces of wings. Change the oil, this was a waste of money and if I get food poisoning I know why.

Food was not hot, not even warm. The only thing hot was the fries. Out of 4 times I went there’s always something they don’t have on the menu. Drinks are watered down and food is not freshly made.

Took forever to get through the drive-thru especially when I could clearly see three employees standing around. All I ordered was a bucket meal…nothing out if the ordinary. If they were waiting on more chicken to be done then someone should have said something.
Oh and be forewarned, the drive-thru has an exit route from the strip mall right through the middle of the drive-thru with no signage or anything.

I had a very disappointing experience at KFC Kailua kona hawaii. The manager’s customer service was unsatisfactory. They were unable to accommodate my request to change my order, and my meal was incomplete. I was also not provided with the necessary utensils. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to this establishment.

How do I eat my food with no fork? I asked for butter and honey for the extra biscuits I ordered and got nothing but dry biscuits. Food will be cold before I get to a fork to be able to eat it. Poor service!
