I visited the KFC / A&W restaurant in Grass Valley, California the other day and had an outstanding experience. I ordered the special, which was 2 pieces of chicken, biscuit, and mashed potatoes with gravy. I also ordered the chili cheese dog and an A&W root beer. All items were served fresh and hot and tasted great. The A&W root beer really hits the spot! The restaurant was clean, 2 restrooms were available, and I had no problem parking. I will be back!

KFC app. did not work. Manger was very helpful but we couldn’t get our online offerings discount for 20 piece meal because the app was not working. The manger gacw another deal and 2 sides of free coleslaw.

I’ll be avoiding this KFC. Since eating here for lunch on Oct 29, my stomach has been messed up. I had mild food poisoning for 3 days, but it’s now been 10 days and my stomach still is far from right. I had gotten the cheese curds which were kind of gross and honey bbq wings. The wings were freshly cooked – waited a full 15 mins for them. They seemed well cooked, but my symptoms line up with salmonella. The only real redeeming quality is that the woman who took my order was nice.

My mom loves KFC so we try to get it for her a few times a year. The ladies here are so kind and patient (especially since we ordered to the wrong store! Confusion with Grass Valley Hwy which is in Auburn vs the Grass Valley store which is on Nevada Hwy!) and helped correct the error and point me in getting a refund and reordering then rushed to fill the order for me!

The restaurant was empty, yet it still took more than 10 minutes to get my order because the employee was on her phone the whole time. She was not friendly and seemed bothered. The chicken tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. Very disappointing experience . I would not recommend this location.
