We ordered a late meal because it one of the only places open after 8 pm we ordered and 8 pc original and the chicken looked and tasted like it’s been sitting for days. It took 10 minutes and we were the only people inside. The biscuits were as hard as a rock the only thing edible was the slaw and mashed potatoes. I immediately called them, when we got home and they don’t answer. I will follow up with owner and corporate.

I feel like I will never be able to give a good review on this place. They have got my order wrong like five times now. The kid’s knight kept handing me the wrong drinks and didn’t even get my order right. I ordered a large freezy and got a medium that was barely a little more, then halfway full. I paid for a large mashed patato and gravy and got a small this place is a rip off.

Just got back home and instead of enjoying my warm KFC, I’m writing this hit piece that I don’t really want to do right now but ALL the bad reviews regarding this place are TRUE. I pulled up to the drive thru with an online order, effing kid says order hasn’t popped up on their screen. Whatever, effing technology ain’t what it’s supposed to be, can’t get mad at them. Then he double checks because I insist and he tells me my order was ready and he made a mistake. THEN I get home and the 8-piece that I ordered is 2 breasts, 2 legs, 2 wings, and 1 effing thigh! Either that’s intentional, or these people can’t count up to 10. Wth?!? Will be complaining to corporate and whoever the franchise owner is, please run your business properly, and honestly.

It is a shame that this local place is not better kept. It is now dirty…not dusted or wiped often. This last visit, both bathrooms were out of order. Made me wonder where employees were washing their hands. The syrup in the root beer was out. They only had 2 workers trying their best to handle all the orders so we had to wait awhile. The worker at the register showed a lot of patience and self control with the situation and just told us one worker had to leave due to a family member in the hospital. The food still tasted good but hey, they need to do something about their restaurant and the conditions. They won’t maintain their good health department rating if they don’t make some changes.

I Loved KFC – until Today when I had the absolutely WORST KFC meal of my Life! My “Original” preparation order did not even look like the Original recipe. It had a flat, dark brown color, and had none of the characteristic light crispy skin. And the chicken itself was overdone and had a bitter taste.
The cold slaw was Not Fresh but instead was limp and almost tasteless.
The biscuit I tried was not fluffy and light, but dry and rather hard.
And then there was the “Honey Sauce.” What exactly is honey “sauce”? Trust me – it isn’t Honey!
What a disappointment. I will certainly Never again get a meal at the Phelan CA KFC and I strongly advise others to take a pass on that disturbing experience.

They forgot to put my chicken pot pie in the bag . This is the second time they forget and I forget to check , even tho I shouldn’t have to. So everyone got to eat but me , thanks kfc . Anyway to fix this ?

Don’t leave without checking your order. They screw up your order 90% of the time. They’ve messed up my sons kids’ meal on multiple occasions, and then I get home and have to deal with a crying 6 year old.
