I hate coming to this KFC. Every single time, you’re waiting on food. The only reason I come here sometimes is because my wife wants it, but the service is terrible.
They make you wait 20–30 minutes just for chicken, and this happens during their busiest times—on the weekend—yet they still don’t have food ready. On top of that, customers are standing around waiting to be helped while employees just walk past them.
This KFC has serious issues from management down to the crew. Everyone needs to be retrained, or honestly, they should just rehire a whole new team. This place is poorly run.

I arrived at 9:20, I wanted to go in and get some chicken and the doors were closed, I went to the drive-thru and they made me wait 16 minutes to tell me that they couldn’t sell to me because it was past 9:30 and they had already cleaned and closed everything and that they couldn’t make my order because they didn’t have any employees… when I got back out to talk there were 4 people inside laughing at the situation.
I think they should pay attention to what they as a restaurant actually offer!

This food was hot hot hot! It was amazing everything was perfect. The staff was friendly. I ordered a 12 pc fam meal. All my sides were hot and my biscuits were so warm. I can’t express how nice it was after avoiding going out to eat for so long.

GREAT food, & Military discount a PLUS!
UPDATE: As of Jan. 2023, NO MORE Military Discount They never used to ask for proof of Military status, would just apply it to the receipt for your discount. When I went the other day, they said they no longer gave Military Discount, basically due to someone ABUSING the system.

I asked for a 16 piece extra crispy family meal the guy said they only had “dark meat “and “original recipe” ! They never have the extra crispy recipe and it’s the only location here in Lockhart! Plus the fries are all cold and not even fresh

I was driving by going to Corpus Christi from Austin and stopped by KFC with the family and got the texas bundle with 5 jalapeños, ooooweeee, and the pot pie for the road. Service was decent, but the food was cooked to perfection, exactly how the Colonel would have wanted! The whole family of 5 ate and the pie to go for less than $30.

We walked in at 4:15 to order dinner – we went to order and were told it would be a 20 minute wait because I asked for all dark meat. I then said I will just take what you have as long as it’s original and was told either way it’s going to be a 20 minute wait. It was our first time going to this KFC and it will be our last because of this. It’s not a typical restaurant where it can be a wait – it’s fast food – but this KFC definitely doesn’t understand the concept.
