I showed up to KFC in Tahlequah at 9:12 PM to order a 12-piece family meal, and it turned into one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had.
During the order I was told they were out of original chicken, then suddenly they had it again. Then they said they were out of biscuits. Then they were out of macaroni. Then they offered potato wedges, but after I paid they said they were out of those too. At that point my only option left was fries. Then they suddenly said they had “great news” that macaroni was available again.
After all of that confusion, I got home and the order was still wrong. There weren’t enough fries for everyone, the macaroni they said they had wasn’t even in the bag, and the 12-piece chicken didn’t have a single leg in it—just a pile of wings and maybe two breasts.
If this location is open until 10 PM, they shouldn’t be operating like the kitchen shuts down at 9 PM. Running out of nearly every item and constantly changing the order after someone has already paid is unacceptable.
This was supposed to be a family meal, and instead I had to go buy more food because the order wasn’t even close to correct. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review before, but this experience was bad enough that I felt like people should know what to expect.

manager was AWFUL to my husband and i. we bought and paid for our food at kiosk 2, received our whole order minus a kids milk. i went up and explained the situation and showed our receipt (it was a digital one sent through text). the girl behind the counter said they didn’t have milk and i explained that was fine and whatever else they had for kids would work. the manager came storming up accusing us of not paying! saying that she will not be giving us something we didn’t pay for. i showed her my receipt and told her we have all the food, just not the kids drink. she said we never paid for anything and never ordered anything. i showed her my receipt multiple times and she was outright hateful while i remained calm. i left to go tell my husband what happened and he went to the counter with the receipt himself, he was telling a worker when the manager stormed back up and said “if this is about the kids milk you’re not getting it” and my husband then matched her energy. we paid 5.19 for a kids meal, we got everything but the milk. we are not leaving our one year old thirsty! she then back tracked and said “oh well she told me she didn’t get her food. i didn’t know it was just the milk” i barged right but up there and said “yes i did tell you so! i pointed back to the table and said our food is right here. i showed you our receipt and everything.” she said “oh it was just a miscommunication” and gave us our drink and left. i would like an apology and most of all, this lady should not be a manager. she immediately took to escalating the situation and speaking hatefully and raising her voice at us when we were happy and just wanting a drink for our toddler that we paid for.

The servers and workers were very unprofessional. I heard workers using profanity and the manager screamed at them twice to stop cussing. These workers were either high school or college age but they had no regard for the patrons eating there and the showed no discipline whatsoever. The manager was very unprofessional for yelling out loud at them and she had no control of the situation. I love KFC but I’ll definitely go to another establishment other than the one in Tahlequah.

Omg I just tried chicken classic, I have to say this will be one of my top favorites for sure. The taste is so pleasant from the pickles to the classic chicken breast. But oh no I can’t eat it all. I wonder if they serve a smaller one.

I haven’t had KFC in two years, and I won’t be having KFC for at least another two years after this experience. I paid $14 for a 3 piece combo for my girlfriend, and some Nashville hot tenders for me. Her chicken seemed to have been injected with grease, as there was more grease under the breading than meat, and it was completely B L A N D. My tenders looked like they were actually chicken F I N G E R S, they made a drinking straw look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Besides that, my tenders weren’t even evenly coated in the sauce, there was a whole tender with exactly Z E R O sauce whatsoever. I wouldn’t order from this place again if I was starving to death.

They ALWAYS forget something in my order. They NEVER put the side of gravy in. I always have to go back in and ask and they always have a damn attitude. The only nice one is the older lady that works there. I had to waste 30 mins of my time calling corporate, just to get a refund because they didn’t have my whole order and wanted to charge me $5 extra, but couldn’t refund me! If my son didn’t love the nuggets so much, I would never go back to the Tahlequah KFC!

Cold food and greasy . I wish there was an option for a photo . Its cold and frozen ! I did take it up there and they said the cheese isn’t melted , its fresh . Its FROZEN ! The whole meal is ice cold ! How special can you be to work with customers ? Like the cheese isn’t even melted , its fresh . ? Wow !

I tried to order online. The message said my order would be ready at 9:31 confirmation. They could not find my order in their system. They said they did not offer meals that were offered online. They could not apply discount coupon offered online at the store. The time for the store to open online was off by an hour. I had to wait for them to open after driving 45 monutes to get there. The person waiting on me said it was not her job to fix it, and it wasn’t her Managers job to fix it either. I still ordered food because I told family members that was what we were having. I will never go back. I tell everyone I can about my experience there. A simple “I’m sorry” could have made a difference, not the “not my job” response I got.

Lisa the night manager is extremely hateful to customers and food presentation is seriously lacking. I’m a door dasher and this store has serious issues. I’m ashamed that I have to deliver such a mess to my customers!
