Manager had very poor people skills. Very hateful and unfriendly. Very annoyed with the fact that people actually chose to eat there. Cold food was ready within minutes and tossed on the counter. Gravy was the consistency of water. The place was filthy.

I’m not one to typically complain, but after entering the building to pick up my order, I felt it was important to address my concerns. The condition of this place was extremely unsanitary and visibly run down. I have NEVER encountered a restaurant maintained at this level. Additionally, the customer service I received was unprofessional and very rude. The combination of poor facility conditions and customer service reflects a serious concern in management. As a member of this community, it is disappointing to see a business operate with the cleanliness I saw today. I strongly encourage ownership to reassess current management practices, prioritize proper maintenance, and ensure staff are trained to meet basic professional and health expectations. These issues not only impact customers but also reflect poorly on the community as a whole. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements.

Guys I’m usually not one for bad reviews; I hate giving them. But you can always count on De Queen KFC….to take forever AND get your order WRONG!. Waited 20 minutes for original recipe dark meat and this is what I got, disgusting, soggy, falling apart skin. Also I had ordered Mac n cheese instead of cole slaw because my kids like it better only to get home and find cole slaw and no mac. Lastly, their mashed potatoes really taste like tap water they should invest in a purification system for their restaurant. Literally spent nearly $35 dollars for something no one wants to eat.

I’m genuinely disappointed in the state of the KFC in De Queen, AR. Food safety, hygiene, and sober staff are the bare minimum expectations for any restaurant. The young cashier was clearly the only one sober and doing her best to keep things running, while other staff seemed totally disengaged — one with earbuds in, ignoring her repeated requests to make fries that had been delayed for 20 minutes.
The place felt chaotic and poorly managed. Cleanliness was questionable, and some staff behavior raised real concerns about possible substance use on shift. I left uneasy and honestly nervous about feeding the food to my family.
I’ve reached out to KFC corporate because our town deserves better than this. I hope the franchise owners will take this seriously and give the employees and customers the clean, safe, and professional environment that our community deserves.

I just wanted to acknowledge the improvements that I’ve seen within the restaurant. You can tell that they have worked hard to better the atmosphere and improve the customer experience! The restaurant was clean, the food was great, and the staff was absolutely wonderful! I was greeted with smiles all the way around. The young people and the manager was very pleasant! Keep up the good work!!

There’s so many bad reviews so I wanted to come on and say, our food was really good. We ordered one of the big family packs with different chicken, potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and biscuits and it was very good. We did online order so maybe that’s why we didn’t have an issue with workers since we didn’t deal with them but we spoke to one young lady who was nice. Our food came out right too. No issues from us, the building could be a little better shape but food was great lol

Went in,there was only one other couple inside during lunch.Place was filthy and ordered our food 2 chicken strip baskets with was $36 and was never told the drink machine was down we got our cups and walked to the machine and I said “is the drink machine down?” Was told “yeah just get your ice all we got is tea!” Well we didn’t want tea but that’s what we had to settle for.We was going to eat inside and I’m not exaggerating when I say every single table was greasy and had crumbs on them.We got our food and decided we was going to take it instead asked for lids for our sides and the worker reached over the counter with her bare hands and was putting her hands all over our food.At this point we should have just got a refund.When we walked in the lady that waited on us was sitting her office and the kitchen workers was all busy so why wasn’t she cleaning the lobby or the front door considering it was filthy.

I live out of town, ws traveling thru and wanted to stop for lunch. It was 11:30 am so a perfect time. When my friend and I walked in there wasn’t any customers inside so we were expecting fast service. We stood at the counter until someone came to take our order. We both wanted white meat, was told there wasn’t any. It was lunch, someone needs to manage their employees at this kfc. We left and ate somewhere else. So sad .

Just walked in with a group of us to eat (9 of us). male staff member said “Oh God Lee” and could clearly tell he did not want to serve us. Other employee just walked by drinking her drink and did not even acknowledge us. As we walked out, he started laughing and walking towards us. Absolutely ridiculous. Restaurant had 3 other customers in it, they were not busy at all.
