I’m just over it. This isn’t every single time, but it’s enough times to matter. That is grease in the bottom of the bucket, we couldn’t eat this, it was a complete soggy mess. Thirty bucks to purchase trash. Do better.

I just got to work after going to the drive through and went to eat and this was what I got with my 4 piece meal. Two legs about 2” long and two thighs that are dry and look like they have been in the warmer all day long. The WORST experience I’ve ever had!!

During our 30min drove i read a lot of reviews about this place And I’m disapointed to say all the negative reviews about how dirty this place is couldn’t be more accurate. This place was disgustingly dirty. Food crumbs and trash laying everywhere. It took me a few mins to find the cleanest dirty table to sit at. Fortunately the food was hot, fresh and delicious. We stood on line a reasonable 5min, waited for our food for a short period and then enjoyed our meal despite setting around the filth. The entire time we was in the building (approx. 1hr) i only seen a lady attempt to clean for maybe 5mins. The problem is, the lady taking food orders is the same lady responsible for keeping the lobby clean. She didn’t have time to do both jobs. The counter was busy enough to not give her any time to clean. Resulting in absolutely disgusting lobby. The photos posted below are just a couple of the dirty tables and I’m telling ya 80% of them looked similar.

Well, we eat here pretty often and the food is usually pretty good. But the wait times are almost always very long and the service is spotty. I always call ahead to order so the wait time is reduced but they usually don’t answer the phone… During business hours. Our server yesterday was hilarious… She made zero attempt to conceal her contempt for us customers. If you hate working there that bad why not move on to somewhere where you can be happier and perhaps more successful?

Giving them two stars because some of the times I have gone here, the food has been good and the service has been decent. I can’t say I have ever gotten great service at this location. Usually it takes forever, at least part of the food looks like it’s been sitting in the warmer for a long time, the person taking the orders of the drive-thru usually interrupts you when you’re in the middle of telling them how you want your food. The chicken I got today tasted pretty good, but it was extremely small portions. The breast I got barely had any meat on it, the wing I got wasn’t even a whole wing! I think we’re going to start driving the extra 15 minutes to just go to Springfield instead and get it from popeyes. The breasts at Popeyes are like three times the size of the ones at kfc. We usually go to this one because it’s the closest one to our home, but I think it would be worth it just to drive to Springfield. We have gone back several times trying to give them another chance, maybe it was just that person that was working that night, or something going on, but over the last year, it has been consistently poor service.

Placed a call in order for 12 pc meal over the phone. Was told would be about 30-minute wait, told me to be there at 6 pm. Arrived a 6 and all was ready to go and super fresh. I can’t remember the last time I had such large, juicy, and yummy thighs…….mmmmmmm! Good job MV KFC!

I ordered a three piece chicken tenders, three piece all dark box with cole slaw and Mac and cheese, didn’t want the drink. Paid $25.00. On the way home I thought about how much it was and thought that was pretty high. When I got home and opened the bag, I had a box of 6 chicken tenders, a biscuit, potatoes with gravy. I like KFC, but after tonight, I won’t be going to the one in Mt. Vernon again. I was hungry so I ate five of the tenders and the potatoes with gravy. I gave one of the tenders to my dog. I will not recommend this KFC to anyone.

I put in an order for a pot pie via the mobile app, and this is the SECOND TIME they have told me that they do not have them. Either take them off the menu or have pot pies prepared so that when people order them, they can have one. I’m usually pretty chill about things not being available but not when it happens again. My advice is don’t order a pot pie from here, go somewhere else. The only positive thing is that at least the people were nice, they were apologetic, and they at least could prepare everything else in the order. But I didn’t care, I just canceled the order and I’m getting a refund.
