I came through at 3:45ish. I ordered the feast and it was ready less than a minute after I got to the window. I get home and the chicken was dry and rubbery. Normally, you can peel the skin off but this skin came off in chunks. I ordered original but I got a bunch of each. My wife was happy to dig into the biscuits and they were basically rocks. It took an electric knife to get through them. My grandpa owned a KFC at the turn of the century and he would be appaled at the taste and texture of our food yesterday. I love KFC but don’t have one where I live, on multiple occasions have driven an hour just to get KFC in Brookings SD. Last few times have been there staff have been extremely rude. Food has been terrible. Chicken has been so dry it’s inedible. Last time went received smashed biscuits. Noticed mold in the bathroom. Will not be returning. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t gotten shut down

830pm 01/28/26 no one answering drive through window and it’s disabled the online orders for pickup. After I drovee off I saw a woman black hair short and round walk up to the window once I left. Chewy chicken too yuck— this place continuously disappoints and I hope corrections are made otherwise might as well shut down

Whoever was taking our order was extremely rude. My dad is hard of hearing and thought they said the order wrong (they did) they continued to start raising their voice at us and when we got to the window to grab our food he made someone else go up there. Anyways extremely rude and next time we will be getting a name and reporting if this happens again!

No. I do not recommend. Manager yelling because he has top make food and he throws the food everywhere like BRO isn’t a zombie ☠️the food takes forever and when I mean forever. I mean it like forever. Even the door dash people yelled at the manager because he yelled in the drive threw he even threw the bag of food at ppl. Trust me do not go.

I will not be returning to this place. I had a terrible experience here. I placed a large order online and when I got there to pick it up the store was closed. I happened to catch a manager coming out of the store. He said that they had no power, which explained why the place was closed. When I asked what I was supposed to do, he brushed me off and said that I had to find a phone number and call to get it resolved. There was no apology for the inconvenience and hassle and no effort to correct the problem. I was not impressed. I went to a local grocery store deli and got the same order of food for significantly less money.
I tried using the KFC app to correct the issue and what a nightmare that was trying to connect to a live agent. I gave up on that and finally tracked down a customer service number to the corporate office. I was able to get a customer service representative on the phone and explained my situation. He took all the information and then said he needed to transfer me to the credit department. The next person I spoke with asked me for all the same information even though I provided the case number with all the previously provided information.
I had a bad experience at this same location 6 years ago and thought I would finally give them another chance. They failed miserably!
