my husband and i love coming to kfc in portage cause it’s quick, cheap, yummy, and Scott!! Scott is the most friendly guy, such positive energy, HAPPY to serve you, communicative, and we have NEVER gotten even the slightest mess up with an order from him! it’s always such a delight to hear his voice in the drive thru and we’re always so excited to go hoping that we see Scott!

I’d literally give 10 stars if I could. The cashier is awesome. They were busy, and had to wait for a bit, but who cares. Food was great and the employees are awesome.

Scott is the most friendly, courteous, and humorous employee I have found at any KFC! I wish I lived in Portage, just to have him brighten my day. He’s truly one of a kind. Thanks Scott, for treating others the way you want to be treated.
So, to add to this story, I wanted to give Scott the biggest tip I’ve ever given anyone at a fast food place. I handed him $100. Scott was in shock…until his supervisor walked up to him and said he couldn’t accept it. She was super sweet, and had tears in her eyes. She told us their manager said they cannot accept tips. What!?!? Everywhere accepts tips! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Do you want your employees to get more money, or less money? It’s not a trick question. KFC, please switch the policy or switch the manager/owner. Take care of your employees! Scott- 5 stars, Supervisor-5 stars for being kind, and following the rules, Manager- 0 stars for not taking care of your employees. Be better.

A very rude manager. Went up to ask for honey and she said “I told you we are waiting on your fries and wedges” It just wasn’t a great experience. Food was good though

I complained about the nasty bathroom to the female working today, and in return got very nasty service. Was given our meal, buy had to ask for trays to eat our food on. Stood at the counter while the female employee walked past me 3 times, and ignored me. I had to ask if I could get some help, she rolled her eyes at me, and made a male employee wait on me. Very rude person…including pictures of the nasty bathroom. Won’t step foot in this KFC AGAIN

Place was empty except for us 3. Dining room was dirty considering how slow they were. Trash cans full. Windows filthy. Many tables dirty. All the staff were busy talking and none were even trying to clean. One lady had over 2 dozen large mashed potatoes on the counter and was filling more. The 10 piece meal was what we ordered. The thighs still had the tails attached. The chicken seemed soggy. The breast had a large bald spot on it where there was no breading. Mashed potatoes were luke warm. The biscuits were ok. The girl did even ask us about drinks so she gave us a glass which was nice. Bathroom was really filthy in mens room and smelled of urine. The girl who can out while we were eating used one rag to spray yellow bottle on table and wiped everything on the floor and also used the rag on the seats. The entire time we were there no one did any cleaning except what little attempt the girl did out in the dining room. Trash on the floor as well. I did take a few pics regarding the person filling dozens of potatoes on the counter and the bald spots on the chicken. The gravy was all over the outside of the container and made a mess and had to was hands again. Outside around building had trash as well. No one wore any gloves entire time we were there despite working with food. No guests dined in the entire time we were there. I hope the upper Management fixes the unsanitary conditions and unsafe food handling that was shown to us while we were there. It appeared that the one woman might have been the general manager which would be quite disturbing. Too much time gabbing and not working.

Customer friendly for sure, but once got my order, so disappointed, as I’m diabetic, needed something to eat. Coleslaw was super liquidly, tasted like it sat out all day, ordered crispy, but tasted refried original chicken n inside was really gross. Quality was extremely poor

I have had some pretty poor experiences here but Scott makes up for all the bad ones, he’s always so positive, attentive, and personal with every customer I’ve seen. Everything I’ve seen from Scott, I believe is everything that customer service should try to aim for!

The person that waited on us was great! He made great suggestions and was spot on. We dined in – seemed to be recently renovated and was clean.
