Against my better judgment I went to the KFC on sunset drive on March 5th. I ordered a 16 piece meal extra crispy. When I got home I discovered I had original and it was absolutely disgusting. The mashed potatoes and gravy didn’t taste right and the biscuits tasted old. We had a throated chicken away because nobody would eat it it was so bad. I spent $57 and I can guarantee you I will never go back to KFC again.

At first glance, this KFC looks a bit sketchy. I NEEDED a KFC fix in a big way. I showed up before noon to beat the rush. Well… I did NOT beat the rush. Two guys were working their butts off to take care of people. There were quite a few customers inside and in the drive thru. The Chicken and sides were prepared perfectly. The customer service was quite good, especially for such a busy situation.

Service was terrible, it was busy though, just with online orders. My chicken sandwich was 2 tenders, wasn’t worth the commotion. I’m not mad. Just crazy busy with online ordering. Inside could of been cleaned a little bit better. It is KFC though, these places are turning up scarce.

Food is good, but the service at this Waukesha location isn’t. At about 4:30, I did an online order for a 12 piece to be picked up at 5:30. I arrived there at 5:35, and they didn’t have enough original recipe chicken to fill the order. It would take an extra 18 minutes. 40 MINUTES LATER, I left with my online order. When I asked for compensation, all I was offered was a cake.

I spent $30 for 12 pieces of oily slimy chicken with the tough tasteless breading falling off. It is pretty obvious it was not cooked properly. I should have known better than to try it again as I had a similar experience a year ago at the same Waukesha franchise. In addition some of the wings had broken bones and shards were mingled with the meat! I understand now why at a peak time there were few customers.

By far the worst experience I have had. KFC’S have really become terrible. This location always has problems. From missing items, food not available, the service is atrocious. As a customer I have never received an order correctly. And the time to receive your food is just plain obnoxious. Should not take over 40 minutes. I experienced the same issues as a Dasher. After tonight, I will never return, ever! Quality of food is poor as well.

Everytime I go here they’re missing another item today I got 2 famous bowl fill ups and they forgot my pie poppers. Also everytime I call i wait on the line so long that my phone hangs up I demand a refund ot my food to be remade this is ridiculous. I enjoy the food here but they continuously mess up orders. They also no longer do refunds so maybe they should learn to properly fulfill an order.

I picked up food from them and noticed a leaking bag when I got home. They forgot to put lids on the mashed potatoes, gravy and Mac and Cheese. So obviously, it was a huge mess. That’s a detail that shouldn’t get missed. We ended up throwing away the sides.

Ordered a chicken sandwich, no pickles, biscuits with butter and honey, mashed potatoes and pepsi. No pepsi, ok fine switch it out. Got a sandwich with pickles (I’m allergic), no butter and honey and no utensils to eat the mashed potatoes with. Now I know why it’s finger licking good, because they never give you utensils thru the drive thru. I normally bring my own for this KFC. Also took 20 minutes. Be prepared to wait.

While I was trying to order. “Pull around” 5 cars pulled around and all waited for probably 20 minutes. Tenders take 15 minutes to cook? Just shut this place down.
