Zero stars would be more appropriate.

We ordered food online at 7:00pm. Online said it would be ready at 7:14. We get there at 7:15 and are told to come back in 20 minutes. Thankfully we live close, so we went home then came back 30 minutes later giving them enough time to make sure it’s ready….we get there and are told 4 more minutes because the chicken isn’t ready. I asked why it was taking so long and she said with an attitude “you can take what’s ready now, or wait a few more minutes for fresh”. So we pulled into a spot and waiting another 6-8 minutes. The lady walked out of the store with our bag, walked up to the window to confirm the name, then as I went to grab the bag, she literally pushed the bag at me as though she wanted to throw it at me. I have NEVER been treated like this as a customer!

We get home with our food (that took longer than if I would’ve made the chicken fresh for us at home) and the mashed potatoes and gravy were literally thrown into the bag because the gravy was all over the bag. And to top it all off our order was wrong and cold!! The chicken wasn’t even “fresh out the fryer hot”, just warm.

I called the store and spoke to the “manager”, explained what happened and she was nice about it even though she was trying to quickly get me off of the phone.

I understand the staff probably gets paid minimum wage, but 60 minutes for some frozen chicken?! Y’all had my number and couldn’t even call to say it would be a little longer.

You’re better off going literally anywhere else.

Ordered on a Sunday around 545pm. 12pc meal and 4 chicken Littles cost $60. Pulled up to window and paid and they asked to pull forward after saying 3 min wait for crispy chicken. Took about half hour to bring us our food. Got home and got half the container of sides and gravy. $60 for this crap.
By looking at the reviews this place has a common problem.

Upon placing my order, the attendant answered a call on her cell phone, informing someone that she was at work. We proceeded to the window to pay for our food. Following payment, we were informed that there would be a 15-minute wait. However, it ended up taking 45 minutes. Subsequently, my son and friend entered the establishment, only to find that the staff had no knowledge of our order, which still wasn’t ready after 45 minutes. The manager appeared frustrated, but fortunately, we insisted on receiving a receipt to verify what we ordered.

Nearly an hour later, we finally received our food. Upon arriving home, I discovered that my order was incorrect, despite the attendant repeating it back to us multiple times. I have photographic evidence that the entire order was incorrect, with the exception of the pot pies. Furthermore, some of the chicken was undercooked and a different color, and I received mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and corn instead of the two mac n cheese and corn I had requested. Spending $58.00 on such disappointing food, coupled with the incorrect order, was truly disheartening. The inefficiency of the staff left me utterly speechless. This experience was a complete letdown and a waste of money. I would greatly appreciate reimbursement or some form of compensation for this subpar customer service.

Meanwhile, the next day I got a call from 2 ladies, one sounding young and the other old. They acted like they were the managers only to find out they weren’t and argued the fact I was lying even though I told them I had proof. They said they would have the manager call me back and give my boyfriend a refund. We NEVER GOT IT!! I even called headquarters twice and never received a call back from the manager or regional manager.

I will never go back to KFC AND CAN’T WAIT FOR THEM TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS, especially the Gratiot location. The employees and management lack professionalism! Avoid that place unless you enjoy getting sick! DON’T DESERVE A STAR

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager had us pull forward for a simple order. Tried to argue with us and tell us we were wrong when when we told her our drink order www wrong, then yelled at us to pull forward. Then we asked for a refund because it took 10 minutes and they were just helping other people. The manager tried stealing $10 from us and refused to give us the receipt. Then when I went in to ask for the correct money. She tried telling me I was wrong and said I’d like to speak to a manager and she cussed me out saying she was the manager and so I asked for her manager. She told me to call the number on the receipt. Which she never gave me and continued to cuss me out. Do not go to this location! It’s trash and the managers need actual training.

I was told to pull forward to wait for potato wedges which I was fine with doing as this is pretty common at most places, and I was told there was a two minute roughly for the potatoes. I sat there for 9 minutes before having to loop back through the drive thru as a woman was honking behind me and nobody on the staff did anything to stop her or tell her i was pulled so she would need to go around, nothing. I didn’t mind getting pulled but it felt bad being forgotten about and then harassed by another customer and nobody did anything. I usually go to the new baltimore location and will probably continue to do so because my experience here was just that unpleasant. Pulling cars is one thing but forgetting about them is another.

This place is absolutely disgusting, the rugs look like they’ve never been changed or cleaned, the service here is little to none, they ask you very close ended questions, and give no feedback to the customer of the status of anything, I’d love to dive deeper into all the problems with this store but my device would crash from the amount data it would be struggling to input. This store is a sanitation hazard at best and that’s still an understatement. This restaurant is breaking so many codes I lost count

If I could give this KFC location 0 stars I would. Every time I order through Ubereats or Doordash they forget an entire combo, sauce, straws ect. Or gives me the wrong drinks. This location never fails to forget at least part of your order. I understand human error , but it’s literally every time from this location. I have no idea how this location is still open. Any other location never has any of the above issues.

This place needs to be shut down. I came through the drive thru and was greeted to a “what do you want” by a young man instead of a professional greeting of any kind. I pulled to the window and he mumbled something incoherent and stuck his hand out the window. I payed for the food and he shoved a light bag out and the wrong size drink. I politely said “excuse me, but I ordered a large drink”. He angrily said “well that’s what I rang you up for so that’s what you get!” He then threw his hands up at me, closed the window and walked away. I waited until a lady came by and said she gave me another drink and I asked for the receipt. I realized after I got back to work that he completely messed the order up as well and threw the items inside. I called KFC corporate and very much hope they fire this rude and obnoxious employee. I will never eat here again!

This KFC is beyond bad.
Sometimes you might have a long wait in a chain restaurant.
Sometimes you might have bad food in a chain restaurant.
Sometimes you might have bad employees in a chain restaurant.
Sometimes a chain restaurant might be filthy.
This place has it all. You can’t make this up; this place is terrible.
Every time I come here I walk out because each item I listed exists in this place.
Today I came thinking if its still open they must have fired everyone and cleaned the place up because nobody can be this hard up for KFC they’d put up with it.
Nope.
You want to know what I think? I think some rich guy is punishing his kid. I think his kid kept getting into trouble so he purchased this place & forced his kid to run it.
Not a chance this place is owned by someone wanting to be successful.
Even the soda machine was messed up, bitter carbonated something came out which I threw away and warned everyone else about.

I had to give a star just so I can leave a comment, but trust me they really don’t deserve the 1 star. Today 11/22/25 4:00pm, I purchase chicken for my mom and me. The chicken was so DRY, it was totally pathetic, not one piece of wet meat anywhere, just dried up chicken! I spent $30+ and got terrible service and horrible food. Because my mom and I was hungry, we did eat the fries, they were even old and cold, but she had to eat. I took the food back that my mom and I didn’t eat and I was refunded $6 – WOW! Yep just $6. This is the reason I haven’t been dinning at KFC, this experience just reminded me not to go there every again – I’ll be frying my own chicken for now on or find another spot – oh yeah, POPEYE’s will be opening soon; I hope they put them out of business for real!
