I stopped at this location for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that this was a newly remodeled location as I’m not from the area. The initial thought I had as I walked in was simply cleanliness. The open and spacious environment had a more relaxed atmosphere as a customer, noting the thoughtful sitting arrangements so that you wouldn’t feel uncomfortable or pressured into being quick with your meal. This restaurant features an incredibly open view of the kitchen, truly contributing more towards that clean statement. I’ve been to quite a few KFC during my travels, regardless of the new remodel, I could immediately see the pride that the owner took in this location, surpassing the standards of the Colonel that we’re all used to.

We went into the restaurant to order out. There was some guy and a kid trying to get someone’s attention (named Brooke I believe) and distracting the workers. Only one person was cooking with two people still waiting in the drive thru! Everyone was basically just standing around and talking. There was one guy who was employed but not scheduled to work that went back there just to mess around with someone. That just seems kind of unprofessional to me to have some random guy in the kitchen that’s not scheduled to work in the kitchen messing around with the workers that are trying to work. Well, trying is an overstatement. They were mostly just standing around and talking while only one poor guy worked trying to get the orders out there. He was very polite. I don’t remember his name but he had longer hair and tied it back. If I knew his name I’d give big props to him! And then when we get home, they messed up our order and didn’t give us all of our sides. I’d give them some slack but this isn’t a first for us. They’ve even given us the wrong order before entirely! I would not recommend eating here if you want the people that work there to get your order right and actually work. And especially not if you want speedy service! Once we have a positive experience there, I’ll be more inclined to change my rating. But my family is almost done giving them chances.
