This location has been in business for well over 4 decades. Back in the day say 1970’s my mom would buy several buckets to take to Derby. It was great hot or cold. That’s before Churchill Downs was a major conglomerate and the little guy could buy a few horses, stable them and run them there. Giving access to the Backside for regular people. Occasionally, they do run out of things my last trip there they were out of biscuits, but I got four really meaty wings instead so I’m happy with the purchase.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this location now I see why. I ordered the 8pc original chicken. I should have looked at it before I left, the food was SUPER greasy. The employees clearly do not care what they serve the customers. My dogs ate a few pieces, I tossed the rest. Definitely was a waste of money!

Went to go get lunch today was really wanting some mashed potatoes and chicken so I got the bowl. For the price it wasn’t worth it. It came with 4 pieces for chicken for almost 9 bucks. So disappointing. But I will say the drive thru staff was super friendly. Just wish I would have gotten more chicken for the money I paid.

The chicken is fresh and juicy and just so good. The chicken livers are cooked perfectly. They really go out of Their way to give you a great experience and great food. It was very much appreciated. The staff that was in there tonight was just the best.

got a 20$ fill up and this was supposed to be a eight piece bucket.. Nope only six.. & the two large mashed potatoes I got as sides had enough in them both for a total of three servings. Minus the gravy.. no gravy at all. Plus chuncked onions in the cole slaw. The only thing good I’ve got to say was the Cashier’s customer service @the drive thru this evening.
