Let me just say, times must be really hard at the Shelbyville KFC, if the owner of this store won’t fire these jackwagon employees. Went tonight for food and even joked on the way about what all they would be “out” of. This time, no fries, no mac&cheese. Got to the window and was greeted by the rudest woman ever. Just read the other reviews, it’s the same lady. Asked for salt.. “we’re out” she said! I told her “well, that tracks.” She shut the window. I pulled away only to find out they had shorted half of my order. Went back in, met with other employees that I can only assume were being forced to work there against their will. This place!! How are you in business!!?!? Another time, not even kidding “we’re out of chicken.” That’s not a joke. Don’t go.. or do go, because service is so bad it’s actually comical. What will they be out of next?!?

Worst place to eat at. Went to order a few days ago and had to wait a while. But what I seen was nasty. I seen The bigger guy packing someone else order with no gloves on, he was touching food with his bare hands. Just nasty because he was outside smoking and come in, who knows if he washed his hands. Even if he did it still nasty. Didn’t end up ordering after I seen that.

Before ordering we were told that they didn’t have any sodas, just water and tea. My husband ordered a 3 piece white meat with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. He got a 2 piece with wedges. I ordered a 2 piece breast meal with mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese and got a dark meat meal. After waiting about 20 minutes and the guy that ordered after us got his order before us, my husband went up to complain and had to wait another 10 minutes, only to find out that our order was wrong. But there was a couple in front of us that was still waiting on their order also. The man went up there and said something to them about their meals and when they finally got their meals, their meals were wrong too. The workers seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing 2 of the women working there were rude and acted like they didn’t do any thing wrong. Then because my husband went up there and said something to the guy behind the counter, the man who ordered before then went up there and the guy asked for his name and told him that they could get a free meal another day, but didn’t bother to offer it to my husband. My husband also said he saw one of the women have her hands down her pants.

Employee at drive thru was extremely rude. I told her she was rude when she brought food out, after having to wait forever. She replied to me “I’m not being rude, you haven’t seen rude yet.” She is rude every time I go! Not just her, pretty much entire staff here always acts like they are inconvenienced by customers coming through. No matter how big or small the order. They are not only rude, they all seem to not know what they are doing. It’s very disorganized.

Wasn’t expecting amazing food or service because, let’s face it, it’s fast food. But DAMN! I ordered a pot pie and was met with “We’re out”. Not even a “sorry”. Top it off, the lady taking my order didn’t even smile, walked right past me twice as I waited to order saying “I’ll be with you”, and overall acted like she didn’t even want to be there. Just straight up rude. Food was about what I expected though so points there but I’m not coming back unless I’m REALLY craving a classic bowl or something. Thumbs down.

I placed an order for pickup in the app at Dec, 23, 2025 at 03:43 PM. The lady in the window was extremely rude and rushing me, 1st she asked for a payment for a different order and when I told her I had a mobile order pick up she rolled her eyes and got my order she handed us our bucket 1st then 2 sweet lightning so I informed her that I ordered the peaches and cream and she told me, ” we don’t have that.” I ask if she was sold out and she said again they do not have that. I asked her about it because I got it last Wednesday but she seemed confused and annoyed, then told me they never had it and do not have anything peaches and cream. Another lady came up and said, “what is the hold up?” The first rude lady said she’s asking for something we don’t have. The second lady was eating something when she came to the window but I showed them both my order in the app with the picture that showed the drink and says its peaches and cream and she said, “no your drinks are right that’s it.” 2 clear orange no cream mountain drinks. The rude bigger lady said as she didn’t close the window all the way, “I told her 5 times we don’t have that.” So I came inside and asked the gentleman on counter and informed him in the app that I ordered the peaches and cream and those 2 ladies in the window said it doesn’t exist and this KFC never had it. He took my drinks and fixed it, it took under a minute. He apologized on thier behalf and then the second lady turned around and saw me and said, “OH you wanted cream in it?” I told her just the peaches and cream I ordered that’s all, he fixed it for me. And then she said the other lady apologizes but she didn’t she walked away in a huff. She was slamming the window on someone else in the drive thru.

They got my order quickly and had me pull to the side and wait for my food. After sitting for 8 mins they came out and told me the hadn’t even dropped the chicken tenders. I was asked if I wanted to wait and was told it would be 4 mins. I have now been sitting here for at least 15 mins. I have been very patient but this is ridiculous

This place is ridiculous!!!! The staff is always so rude and unprofessional!!! It’s a shame, people really like to eat at KFC but it’s the only one close to me. I really don’t know how this place stays open with the staff that they have there.

Everytime I eat here the staff in front is so horrible at doing their jobs. So rude no respect. The boss Mary should be fired. She doesn’t fix the problems of the bad service. Sabrina and Linda are so horrible at their jobs. No respect at all. Sabrina is the worst one of all. Everytime I go in there she always rude and disrespectful to customers. Seen her ignore a Latino guy because his English wasn’t good. Can’t believe she’s not fired. Mary is to blame. I had to take my 7years old son to wait in the car because their was so much nasty talking. KFC please fire Mary and Sabrina. And I’m sure the business will become so much better.
