Familiar Brand, Local Experience
As someone from China, I’m very familiar with KFC, so walking into this one felt incredibly nostalgic and comforting. The decor and brand identity are just as I’ve always known them, which was a nice touch of home.
However, the food was a completely different story. The flavors were quite different from the KFC I’m used to in China, and I found them a bit hard to get used to. Many of the items I love from the Chinese menu weren’t available here, which was a bit disappointing. The service was also just average—it got the job done, but it wasn’t particularly friendly or engaging.
Overall, it’s a good place if you’re looking for a quick bite, but don’t expect the same tastes or menu items you might find in a KFC in China. It’s a great example of how a global brand adapts to local tastes.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst KFC, let alone WORST restaurant I have ever been to. My chicken was slop, and my biscuit wasn’t even cooked. The lady who took my order was nice, but when I drove back around to let them know my biscuit was undercooked, another woman was very rude with an attitude.

Ordered thru drive through, ordered pot pies, then was upsold to the Festive pot pie combo. When I agreed to the Festive combo, I was told that the apple poppers would take 10 minutes. I said that is fine. I pulled to the side and waited more than 10 minutes, finally approached by the cashier that took my money, handed my food and walked away. I drove 14 minutes home to realize that I did not get my apple poppers. Never again going to this location, not a fan of KFC for the past 5 years, this just seals the deal.

Bad experience Went to pickup food for a customer waited 20 minutes for a pot pie, the servers “packed it up” but everyone in restaurant cooking and serving didn’t know who the pot pies were going to, everyone confused. In good faith, when they said “ok you got the pot pie” I went to customer’s house and then left and she called back asking where her pot pie was 🙁 I went back to the restaurant and the manager gave me a hard time insinuating I and the customer were lying, and didn’t want to give me the pot pie. Thankfully, the customer called and they filled the order. Very upsetting experience for me and the nice customer. Guys, please…double check your orders. This store I was dealt with very disrespectfully and there’s a problem with quality control.

This has been a go to for me. KFC has a great rewards program and the best $3.99 chicken sandwich. Also a rock star Jasmine that knocks customer service out of the park. Thank you KFC your 9th Ave location can’t be touched.

We went there the other day & we all got the chicken sandwich combo and my son got a drumstick and some macaroni cheese. The sandwiches were actually made fresh and hot and they were so delicious. I love KFC but this particular restaurant deserves 0 stars for service. I placed an order on Doordash and requested a later delivery time. Instead I received my food an entire hour early and when I called the store to complain, no one answered. No one has answered for hours. I’ve called off and on for four hours and NO ONE answered the phone. Horrible customer service. I won’t order from here again.

Just like I want my KFC! We were fresh out of church and decided to do a pickup order. We changed our minds and decided to eat in. The lady who served us was bluntly honest with her feelings about not needing company in the dining area at 8:30 on a Sunday night. But she was not rude and accommodated us with a little dry humor to boot! I loved her brutal honesty and she even became a welcomed partner in our dinner conversations. She is a lovely soul. The food was delicious. Biscuits were just a little on the doughy side and the Mac n cheese looked as if the old batch was added to the new batch without being stirred up. But overall it was a very nice end to our busy day. Thankyou Mama lady for your conversation and warm soul. I wish that I had gotten your name. PS The children said they will come back and broom and mop the floors for you anytime that you need them!
