I usually likes kfc chicken but tonight i decided to order 16 piece i ask for fresh chicken and they said they fyers are down at 8@ night saying if we want fresh chicken 1 to hr 15 min i know it dosent take that long even with getting it prepared and everything and they missed 4 biscuits not only that i got home and couldnt even eat inside the food was tough and had red in the inside i called the store and asked to speak to the manager on the shift and the employee ( im guessing the cook lied like the manager ) decided to argue over the phone with me . not great customer service racist store !!!

This location surprised me that it isn’t shut down already. Pulled in the drive thru and they said to come inside to place an order at the kiosk or register and then noone actually helped me with my order. The front door is boarded up from what looks like a car hit it. I never got to place an order. From the looks of the place I can’t imagine the food would be any good with how run down it is and the lack of employees cause they said they are short staffed. Sounds like poor management to me.

Came in alone on Tuesday July 1st 2025 about 3:30pm. First impression is outside parking lot needs a major cleanup and pressure washing. Looks like a neglected KFC from the 1970’s, very depressing. Trash everywhere, no maintenance done on landscape, just very sad looking.
Luckily the inside of the restaurant was much cleaner. When I came in there were no guests but all of the employees I could see were either prepping food or cleaning.
They had some coupons for several items and the young lady that was cleaning offered to help me ring up at the counter instead of the self-order kiosk. According to the receipt her name was Tammy; very friendly and helpful, and stayed busy the whole time I was there.
I ordered the 8 piece bucket meal deal which is normally $29 but with coupon was only $18.99 which is a heck of a deal, comes with 8 pieces of chicken, two large sides and 4 biscuits. I also ordered 4 of the apple fritter desserts or whatever they’re called (I actually ordered the strawberries and crème cheese ones but apparently they don’t have those anymore so they gave me apple, which if I had known I wouldn’t have ordered them, they tasted ok but not something I would order again).
Got my order and got home, everything was fine, chicken was good and cole slaw was good as usual, biscuits were not exactly fresh but I came between lunch and dinner so I didn’t expect perfection!
Only food issues I had was the gravy for the mashed potato’s was very watery and definitely not the thick brown gravy I am used to and expect, tasted bland and that was a big letdown because that’s my favorite item at KFC (wish they would bring back the “chicken little” sandwiches, those are the best!
Anyway overall the food was good except for the gravy and switching out the apple fritters, but I was very impressed with the customer service of Tammy and how all the employees were looking busy and productive, also how rapidly my food was served.
So this review should probably be lower but I gave it 4 stars basically due to the employees, otherwise: 5 stars for customer service and interior, 3 for food, 2 for exterior cleanliness. Not sure if I’ll come back here but I will give kudos the the management for having friendly and productive employees. Spend some money on the exterior, I almost didn’t go inside because the outside is so ugly and depressing. I have never been that way about a place but it looked like a place in the slums in the early 70’s. Bummer dude’s!

I got the 3 piece dinners 2 sides. This chicken tastes like its been sitting for hours. So I call the store and the assistant manager decides to argue with me telling me oh ur driver took too long it’s coming up and going out when my driver was actually early. If u eating fresh chicken to 3 hour old chicken you know the difference in the taste. Just apologize and do better. As much as we pay for service plus delivery plus tip DO BETTER! and if I call like a heads up dont argue with me on the phone hear what im saying check ur product and adjust. Simple. Very unprofessional rude and THE CHICKEN TODAY RIGHT NOW IS OLD!

Placed an Uber Eats order. 15 minutes later when the delivery driver arrived, they told him they didn’t have extra crispy and they spoke to me. I asked them if they were out or it just needed to be cooked. They said it needed to be cooked and would take 20 minutes. Here is my issue, when that order came in and you saw it, you should have immediately started cooking the chicken, not wait 15 minutes. Y’all fast food workers always want more pay, but won’t do the actual work to justify the pay. Start taking initiative and quit being so lazy.

This location is abysmal. For 2 months now every single time I have came to get a meal I am told that they are not taking orders for being “under staffed” or that “the register at the drive thru is down”. When I go in to get the meal they end up masserating and destroying the food while putting it in the box or on the tray and I have even had to wait for 30 minutes once for my meal because they “lost my order”.

Extremely greasy chicken, more so than other locations I’ve been to. Mashed potatoes were slightly runny and the gravy portion was very light. The grease running out of the chicken every bite made it unenjoyable. Ordered a thigh and a breast and the thigh happened to be the smallest one I’d ever seen.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. This is the second time I have been to this location and had a terrible experience when it hit me the last time was a bad experience to the point I made a bad review. The people that work there have terrible customer service. Have an attitude when I asked for fresh fries they acted like it was coming out of there check meanwhile the Mac n cheese was watery and chicken so dry. So not recommend this location. I’m so disappointed I just moved to cartersville and will be going to Bo jangles from here on out.
