Well it’s nice to have a kfc next to a truck stop. That’s the 1 star that I give. The food and service not so great. I walk in on a later Tuesday morning. I’m the only person in the lobby placing an order. There is nobody in drive thru. I order a 16 piece, 4 pack of biscuits and an order of liver. I eat the liver first. It left some type of film on my lips that took forever to get off. The biscuits were cold,hard and dry. The chicken looked like it had been sitting in grease all day! Where is the pride in making food? I ordered 4 breasts, 6 legs and 6 thighs. What I got was 3 breasts, 1 leg, 3 thighs and the rest wings. How in the heck can you possibly get the only order in the entire building wrong? Does kfc hire people that cannot read? Man and I thought us truckers have it bad on the roads. I go in the next day to make a complaint and the manager says to me, we were extremely busy yesterday. I said excuse me can you plz repeat that. Just wow! The manager stands right there in my face and point blank lies to me. I guess he doesn’t believe in the thou shall not lie commandment. The reason why I didn’t go back in the 1st time as I was too tired and sleepy to walk back. So as I am there making a complaint I order another 16 piece. This time they got the chicken count correct but what is it with chicken that looks like it’s been sitting in grease all day?!? I never once got an apology, refund or a discount off my 2 order. I will never ever be back to this shady business. To spend over 40 dollars for 16 pieces of soggy chicken is a complete rip-off

I wish I could give less than one star. I went there and ordered a chicken tender family meal (8 tenders, lrg mac and cheese lrg mashpotato, 4 biscuts) with two handheld pot pies. I got home and had no mac and cheese (the reason my son will eat there), and two cold mashed potatoes and gravy with six tenders… that’s it. The tenders were overcooked and dried out, and there were no pies.
I live a 20-minute drive away, so it’s not just a matter of jumping back in the car to take it back. I have tried for 45 minutes to call and complain. They WILL NOT answer the phone.
I am far from happy with this. How am I supposed to feed my family when they don’t give you the right food? It wasn’t like it was even busy!!!

Absolutely love that KFC brought back the honey bbq chicken. The staff there are awesome, even when they gave me the wrong item they made it right and corrected it. Thank you Ramona A+ customer service.

I ordered 4 tenders. I was told that it is impossible to sell me 4 tenders even though it’s directly on their menu. I asked if he could sell me a single tender, he said yes. I asked him to ring me up for 4 single tenders, he said no. I finally settled on ordering 3 tenders. He asked what side I wanted. I said I don’t want any side, please just the tenders. No side, no drink. He said he can’t sell a 3 piece tender except as a meal. I relented. Then these are the tenders I received.
Granted, I am used to KFC Perú but considering that KFC is literally from the United States, I expected it to be better here, not infinitely worse and honestly inedible. Very sad.

I work in Morganton and live an hour away from my job. I’ve stopped at this store 3 times now on my drive home. All 3 times they have been out of basic menu item and it has taken 30 minutes plus to get my order. Crew is rude and pathetic, and shows the utter incompetence of the store manager. I have been a General Manager running fast food restaurants for over 20 years, and this is utterly ridiculous. A change in mgmt and crew are desperately needed here. After this I will never be back. I’ll wait til I get home to Asheville to order and get my food. At least I know they will have it, and won’t take 3p minutes.

I’ve noticed a huge improvement this week in this KFC location. I’ve worked close by for 10 years. Like every restaurant and small business this location seems to operate with minimum staff the last few years. I ate here News Years eve at lunch at today Jan 2 at lunch. Food was freshly made, dining room was exceptionally clean, and the employees were friendly and provided efficient
service. I appreciate the effort by all employees and managers. Thanks!

every single time i order i never get a spoon, or fork or spork or whatever they have. pls do better and make sure the order IS CORRECT. i work in fast food so i understand but doing in 3+ times is insane.

I recently visited the KFC location and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was painfully slow. The lady at the counter was incredibly rude and initially ignored me, even though I was the only customer in the restaurant.
When I finally placed my order for a 6-piece chicken, it took more than 35 minutes to prepare. This is unacceptable, especially considering there were no other customers. When I inquired about the delay, the counter lady responded with a condescending attitude, as if I was being unreasonable for expecting timely service. It’s important for the staff to remember that customers are paying for their food, not receiving it for free.
To make matters worse, the staff members were just standing around, eating from the cooked fries and other containers, and laughing with each other instead of attending to my order. It was clear that they were not prioritizing customer service at all.
This was by far the worst experience I have had at any KFC location. The management needs to address these issues urgently to prevent other customers from experiencing the same poor service.

Kfc in Marion NC is excellent.place.to eat.the staff is very very friendly and.male.ypu feel welcome.Misty.the manger is fabulous she is outstanding treats her customer an100.% satisfaction make sure.ypur.food.is.hot.and neatly packed in.the.box.I would recommend this KFC before.the.one.in.Morgsntpn.nc they are rude awakening.
