After handing me my drink and taking payment, the staff forgot about me in the drive through window until they tried to collect payment from me for the next order and realized I was still waiting on my food. Worse, the food they gave me wasnt what I ordered, which wasnt apparent until I drove away (they gave me chicken despite me asking for beef in my order twice). This is the 3rd time I’ve had poor service here across several years, so unfortunately I think this is just their norm now.

I had just gotten my wife from Rex hospital, and as unhealthy as it sounds….all she wanted was some KFC. We happen to find one open, despite a light dusting of snow just beginning……we were able to get that hot meal she wanted so badly after getting out of the hospital. This gentleman, I didn’t catch his name, a very large black man…..was in an obvious rage over working in the snow, due to his remarks and body language. He was on shift on January 31, 2026 between 1500 to 1700 hours. I can understand the man’s attitude towards management, but I hope a district manager will address his concerns, otherwise this could result in more serious altercations between staff and customers. His behavior was partially justified, but he should definitely not take it out on people that just left the hospital. Here again you never know what someone is going through on either side of the counter, in that case a little professionalism and kindness can work out for both parties. I hope management and the Lord above can help this gentleman find a job that is more to his liking.

Had a craving for a pot pie and was sadly disappointed in the quality. Drive 15 minutes to this location, first time here. The crust was perfect, buttery, flaky, crispy with a soft center. However, the inside filling was disappointing with chewy gummy chicken, hard carrots, and water-downed potatoes.
Update March 2025: I’ve since given this location a second chance and had amazing food service with the pot pies. My previous experience must have been isolated. I can say that their pot pies have been absolutely delicious lately.

This is more a review of the chicken sandwich. At this point a three for fast food is stellar. But I digress. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich because you know chick fil a. KFC sandwich is dry, bread dry, meat dry( except the last bite which was weird). Wasn’t that spicy. Had to add some hot sauce for a bit more of a kick. Wasn’t much sauce on there. The actual chicken was larger than most sandwiches around. It was filling.Fries reminded of the potato wedges. The flavor not the appearance. It needs some TLC but it can be a winner

Customers beware! This is the worst KFC experience I had. I ordered a family size of 8 pieces and specifically requested dark meat. The cashier did that and printers on receipt, and then I took the order home. Then found out the bucket contains two large breast, two small wings, two thighs and legs. This is not what I ordered!! But it’s too late that we came home already. I will NOT go to the KFC at Cary anymore.

I got a chicken tender meal, with fries, slaw and biscuit. The fry container was about 2/3 full and they were cold and the over cooked scrapings. The chicken tenders were small, over cooked and cold. The bisquit and slaw was ok. Considering I payed $15.47 I was expecting better. The cashier/manager didn’t seem too happy to have me as a customer. That was the first and probably last time I’ll ever be in the area, but I feel like others need to know how certain ppl are treated. Walk in and you’ll know where I’m coming from.

The bathroom was disgusting. The place is rundown and needs remodeling or repairs. The service was slower than expected. Understaffed and overworked. The come back of the chili cheese burrito was exciting but disappointing since it’s half the size it was before.

This location is a KFC Taco bell. I ordered my food while being 3rd in line and then pulled up to the window where I had to wait 15 minutes after paying for my food. I know these locations are notoriously bad but this was ridiculous

This poor kfc has had problems from the day the doors opened. Never do they have what you want,you have to take what’s available. Ordered 2 pieces, white got 3 pieces dark. Tried again a month later. This is a tenders meal.
