Years ago, chicken here was very good but the quality has dropped significantly.
The chicken and wedges was hot the tea was cold and very refreshing. They only gave me two packets of the dipping sauce I wanted but still, for the price it was okay. In fact the total cost, with delivery fee, tax, and tip, was less than many other delivery places. I paid for what many places make you pay for just the dish or sides. I give KFC delivery five stars.
Updated – Ordered a few chicken sandwiches, the Chickens Little Combo with Wedges and Mountain Drew. I also ordered a Large Sierra Mist was I was pretty thirsty. The order arrived on time and everything looked good. No problems.
Addition – ordered a couple more times from KFC. One time ordered a 2 Piece Drum and Thigh Combo with the Potato Wedges and a Sierra Mist. Also added a Large Mountain Dew. Problem they were running late so they changed the ETA…and then were still later than they said. Now, they must have known the driver was going to be late because they made the Sierra Mist a Large and tossed in a chocolate chip cookie. Plus a biscuit…unless those come with the Combo? Which was nice of them, kind of a way to apologize for being late. Only problem was the ice in both drinks had melted so what I ended up with was two Large cold waters that tasted, slightly, of some kind of citrus drink.
The last order was also delayed and the ETA pushed back. But this time they were able to deliver it on the new time. This time I ordered a 3 Piece Combo with Potato Wedges and Iced Tea. Which also came with a biscuit. Hmm. And I also ordered 4 Cinnabon Biscuits. Which tasted amazingly good for being biscuits covered in frosting and some kind of syrup.
I am not taking away points. This ISN’T KFC’s fault the delivers were late or got lost. So why punish them? AND Grubhub even reached out via email with a discount for future deliveries by them. This makes KFC and Grubhub the best combo of restaurant and delivery service so far! Good food, low costs, and great customer service.
Update – Last few orders from KFC via Grubhub have been…interesting. The drivers have been late half the time and Grubhub has been giving me a ton of discounts to make up for it. But at a certain points you start to wish they just would get it right the FIRST time. Getting discounts are nice, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes I would like to have the food on time and warm. And KFC is starting to miss items in the order. Small items, nothing OUT RIGHT wrong, but some orders were missing dipping sauce and such. Not enough to take away stars but still a little worrying…
Update – having being given free delivery from Grubhub I decided to order from KFC. I ordered a Cheetos Crispy Colonel Box with potato wedges, mac & cheese, and decided on a Diet Pepsi. I also ordered a large Diet Pepsi and Popcorn Nuggets.
The delivery was rescheduled once but made it on time, barely, on the second ETA. The mac & cheese seemed more processed cheese than macaroni. The potato wedges were great but the Popcorn Nuggets were kind of lame. No taste and not really interesting. The Cheetos in the chicken sandwich tasted stale. Which means they must have been out, exposed to the air, for days. I mean, it takes a LONG time for Cheetos to go stale. At least it came with napkins, a spork, and six packets of ketchup. Overall I was happy I didn’t have to pay full price.
I asked to speak to the manager. The manager gave me a hard time and refused to give me my money back. I informed them that I was calling corporate on them at that moment. The manager was really rude. I have no understanding of them not refunding your money when they don’t have the product.
I called corporate right in front of them. This is the worst KFC I ever been to in the 60 something years I’ve been on this Earth. Their customer service is horrible, they need to be trained on how to treat customers.
I spoke with corporate while I was in the store. After I explained to her what was going on, the manager on duty then refunded my money. This took place on August 3rd 2025.
I went back to KFC this evening around 8:50 p.m., the only reason I stopped by is because my brother wanted some chicken and this was the closest place to home. I asked about the $10 box, which they no longer have. I’ve been asked for a two-piece white original meal, I was told that they were out of original chicken. They had more than an hour left to stay open. I just left!!!
I will never ever go to this KFC again. They need to be trained and know how to respect their customers when they enter the store.
Make sure you check your food before you leave. They are constantly messing up.
The rating I give for this KFC, is a zero!!!
