Reviews
This review is for KFC, and unfortunately, it is one of the worst fast-food experiences I have ever had.
Let me be very clear: the food is horrendous. The chicken is poorly prepared, lacks freshness, and tastes nothing like what KFC is supposed to represent. The biscuits are equally bad — dry, unappetizing, and frankly inedible. I would not serve this food to someone as a final meal, and that statement alone should explain how unacceptable this experience is.
Food handling and packaging is another major issue. This is not a one-time mistake. On multiple visits, food was placed inside the bag so carelessly that everything spilled — fries, sandwiches, chicken — all dumped into the bottom of the bag. When you open it, your meal is already ruined. This has happened repeatedly, not just once.
Cleanliness is alarming. If you walk inside instead of using the drive-thru, the condition of the store is unacceptable for a food establishment. The dining area and overall environment appear neglected, and it raises serious concerns about what is happening behind the scenes. This location needs daily, consistent cleaning and stronger oversight. At this point, it feels like cleanliness standards are either ignored or not enforced at all.
I want to be very clear about something:
This is not an emotional review.
This is not about one bad order.
I intentionally visited this location multiple times, on different days and at different times, before leaving a review. I do this because the public relies on honest feedback when deciding where to eat. Anyone familiar with my reviews knows I take this seriously and do not leave reviews lightly.
KFC as a brand can be decent. It may not be everyone’s first choice, but it is a familiar and convenient option. This location, however, should be avoided. I would strongly recommend driving past this KFC and choosing another restaurant entirely.
Overall rating: 1 out of 5 stars.
This store needs immediate attention from upper management. Staff retraining, stricter cleanliness standards, better food handling, and accountability are absolutely necessary. Customers deserve fresh food, proper packaging, and a clean environment — none of which are being delivered here.
Upper management: please intervene. This location needs help — badly.
During COVID everyone was hit hard. I work in health care and saw a small glimpse of the impacts of it. Not good.
Today 7-23-22 I’m driving home to Delaware County PA and we all feel like KFC, but our kayaks on the roof prevent us from using the drove thru. What now?? I called them and arranged our order between ordering on line and picking up at the door, we had everything!!
The staff were all wearing masks and when I motioned at the window for a “can you come here” a few staff nodded a motioned to me a “one minute we’ll be right there.”
I marked this KFC in my gps and will stop here when I travel up and down PA (I’m frequently on the NE extension to Scranton or Allentown or NY).
Thanks KFC!
