This was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food was terrible — cold, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The chicken was overcooked, the fries were soggy, and everything looked very unappetizing. The restaurant itself also looked dirty and poorly maintained. I definitely regret spending my money here. Very disappointing and a complete waste of time and money.
The employees were just as bad as the food. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and acted like they didn’t care about customers at all. The service was extremely slow, and when I asked simple questions they responded with bad attitudes. It felt like they didn’t want to do their jobs. Honestly, the management should seriously improve the staff and the service because this place leaves a very bad impression. Very poor customer service.

The absolute worse experience I had at a fast food restaurant! The service was absolutely horrible! The young lady sounded annoyed that I was placing an order while even trying to order my food! She spoke to me as if I was bothering and, or disturbing her! Then when I got to the window, another young lady was packing my food , with her phone in her hand the entire time. The kitchen area appeared very dirty! Then my FOOD….Talk about being DISAPPOINTED! The chicken was soooo greasy that it was in my bag by the time I arrived home from KFC. There was grease dripping from the box! KFC YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!! PERHAPS, you should hire employees whom actually want to work! The employees whom worked the evening of 8/13/24 should be suspended or fired! Review your cameras! I know I am not the only complaint you will receive!!!!

Worst food experience I’ve ever had! Supposed to be Honey BBQ chicken. No sauce. Chicken and fries were obviously hours old. Did not get extra sauces. Wrong drink. Clearly the employees do not care one bit. Absolutely will never order there again! Almost feel pity for the pathetic employees. Can’t even cook chicken! Hate to see where your lives are headed! 12/20/25, this was not my first choice for chicken. Popeyes the line was way too long so I gave KFC one more try. Arrived at 8 PM and the doors are locked. Went through the drive-through order two piece extra crispy. Went up to the window. They informed me they didn’t have any more extra crispy. I really think that whoever owns this KFC didn’t want to make any more chicken so they don’t have to throw it away but they don’t care how the customers feel or want. I think I’m done with this KFC on Walnut Street in Harrisburg PA. The food is mediocre. The service is mediocre maybe subpar. Now I see why Popeyes was jampacked and KFC was empty. Popeyes is open later. It’s always able to have what you need. Goodbye KFC I’ll try it in in another location but this location on Walnut Street in Harrisburg is terrible. If I were you, I would stay away from it.

On let me start off first by saying kfc is freaking expensive! I’m definitely gonna go to Popeyes from now on they have way better deals!…… now I ordered 2 of the 13.99 boxes it came with the chicken sandwich fries and the nuggets as well as a drink. Baby that thing was delicious ok and the nuggets were good too I honestly could have done without the fries! I have no complaint about this location staff was very friendly food was hot order was correct as well

I drove 14 minutes out of my way to take advantage of a text offer. Set a line in the Drive-Thru and then got to the window and they told me that they don’t have a scanner and I had to go to a different location with a scanner. The next nearest location is a half hour out of the way. The manager said she’d rather throw the food away then honor the offer that I received by text because then she’d have to do it for everybody. Sounds like smart business to me. She said they were a franchise that doesn’t participate. No wonder they have an average 3-star rating. This franchisee is greedy. And their manager either doesn’t have the power or the will to do right by consumers.

I visited this location in 2021 for the first time. I remember the first words at the drive thru: only taking exact change and cards. Then there was a remodeling of the building that took forever and made it sort of unappealing to get food from a place under construction. I’ve visit the location several times during 2022 and 2023. Now it’s January 2024. I just heard the same exact words today while getting some tenders: only taking exact change and cards. In all these years they still don’t know how to run a business. I’ve been a retail manager and on the rare occasions we ran out of change we would rush to a bank and we would also encourage local customers to exchange their rolls with us. It’s very clear by now they just don’t care about this. The service is terrible. I just ordered 3 chicken tenders (without combo) and was wondering how much it was. The employee told me to go ahead to the next window to know the total (??). $8.47!!! That was the total. If she had given me the total while still on the speaker I would’ve upgraded to a combo for about $2 more. But I paid the amount with one thing in mind: I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS KFC AGAIN. And just in case it’s a local franchise not even to the ones in the area. I want no business with them. Terrible customer service (you have to greet and wish a great day to the associates on the window because they’re always in a bad mood ), so-so food, unfriendly business methods and high prices? If you are reading this take your business to the competitors (Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, etc.). Their prices might not differ significantly but the ability to take a $20 bill and make a transaction, the ability to not feel like you are bothering an employee with your transaction and the ability to know what you are going to pay before you move to the next phase of the transaction is appealing enough for me.

Walked in and was ignored by the cashier. Overheard people talking about wanting to ‘do drugs that would give them the energy to do their job. Tables and the floor was nasty. I doubt KFC even cares about who’s working as long as they have someone working.
Won’t be back. Not to Harrisburg.

I spent almost $40 on 12 piece meal. Got shorted 1 piece. No one picks up the phone when I wanted to complain!!! Do not go here. This is the 2nd time they have shorted us chicken!! You REALLY HAVE TO BRING TONGS AND TUPPERWARE and COUNT your chicken BEFORE you leave the drive thru!! The pieces are also small. I’m a petite lady and look how small the chicken pieces are!
There are a lot of financially struggling families buying chicken during a RECESSION and who wants to drive 30 minutes away and 30 minutes back with $3.85/gallon gas and then go home & discover one piece of chicken missing?!!!
