On February 22nd, 2026, I decided to grab some food to take over to my parent’s house while we make preparations for a home going service. I went through the drive through and ordered the 16 piece family meal (half&half), 2sides of Mac and cheese and mashed & gravy-$51.57. After arriving to my parent’s house across town, we prayed and began to make plates. Apon opening the chicken containers they were BURNT and inedible. I called KFC in Penn Hills, Rodi Road and asked to speak with manager. She stated she was the manger on duty, I told the lady who answered the phone and explained to her my issue. She remembered my order, she took the order at the drive through. She stated I could bring the chicken back and get a refund. I explained that I was no longer in that part of the city and if she could just refund my card. She stated she was not able to do that but the GM will be in tomorrow and I could come in tomorrow to get refunded. I thanked her and asked her do I need to bring this mess back. She said no, I’ll take your information and let her know you’ll be in tomorrow. I asked her do I need to bring this crap back, she replied no.
I called prior to going to the store and asked to speak to the manager, he stated he’s the manager. I asked him his name (Michael Robinson), I apologized and stated I need to speak with the GM, He said I’m the GM. I said oh, the lady I spoke with yesterday said – I thought it was a women. I gave him my information and was told the GM would refund my monies today. I wanted to make sure the GM is there prior to coming.
He stated I needed to bring the chicken back to get refunded. I explained to him the manger said I did not need to do that after our conversation. He stated he don’t know who that could have been and I need to bring the chicken back. I asked him did any of his employees leave information about my refund, giving him my name again. He said no. Okay, is there a female GM? No! Okay, may I have your Area Director’s number? I am the Area Director. Oh! You told me you were the General Manager. Okay! I’ll call your corporate office, which I did on February 23rd and still have not heard back from them. Today is February 28th.
The chicken looked and smelled as though it was cooked in OLD grease and over cooked and they still served it.

I just had the best bucket of chicken in my life at KFC! This manager must be on the ball, because She/He definitely changes the frying oil! You can tell that the chicken wasn’t over fried or greasy! Great tasting! Most of the time I get chicken at KFC, it’s over fried and greasy! I’ll be coming back to this place!

1st time going to this location, ordered online, I show up 10-15 minutes later after I placed the order & the lobby is locked, I’m told they ran out of chicken & it’d be 20 min unless I wanted extra crispy & I said I do not want extra crispy chicken, 30 min later I get my food with a warm fountain drink & extra crispy chicken.
Also the lady at the window had a full lip of dip in her mouth, hey to each their own but it just added to the whole place seemed disgusting & I won’t go back there

We ordered the 20 piece chicken from 210 Rodi Rd KFC. They must be using new oil because the chicken tasted terrible, definitely not finger licking good. 1/7/2026. Terrible the outside crispy was inedible. NOT THE COLONEL’s recipe!

Avoid this one. Ordered online but never got food. Doors were locked. No one would acknowledge the drive thru. A couple of people were inside but they refused to acknowledge me or anyone else who was there also waiting. Never got my food. Have sent an email to corporate, have chatted and called and still no refund. Filing a claim with my bank and we’ll file a claim with the BBB for theft.

Ordered online today and tracked the order. When my spouse went to pick it up no one came to the window and the door was locked. He banged and I tried calling. Finally someone came to the door and told him he must not have stopped at the speaker (he did) then proceeded to tell him the order wasn’t ready. The online tracking showed the order had been ready for 15 minutes while he was trying to get someone to acknowledge his presence! Now he has to wait until they quote unquote cook the food! Oh but they offered to give me something for free! Horrible Horrible Horrible establishment! I won’t be ordering from here again! Funny though they immediately charge your card when you place your online order!

Terrible. Avoid if you can. I ordered a family meal only to be told the wait is 20minutes because they had no chicken. I couldnt wait at the window because their timer would run so I had to sit in the parking lot and come back to the drive through when i thought it would be ready. They didn’t even offer to bring it out. I went back for my order only to find out it was wrong, cold and the potatoes still had dry mix in it. I drove back to get fresh potatoes and the girl gave me 2 side cups and not 2 large sides and walked away. I had to get her attention by knocking on the window and showing her i ordered 2 large sides. She gave me those and those still had some dry mix in them as well. Terrible all around

The manager on duty the 31 of March was terribly rude. I at first thought an electrician was the manager and once he politely guided me to the woman who was the manager, she became very rude saying this wasn’t her store she was just filling in for someone. She was vulgar and no help at all. Next time I’ll take my business elsewhere

Horrible place. The lobby is closed due to “maintenance” fairly often. When it is open, it is extremely dirty. No telling what is crawling around in the back. Perhaps I will call the health department tomorrow. Quality of food and service is subpar. It is shameful corporate doesn’t care.

Update 8/16/21: Was in the area and in a pinch when my family requested KFC. Thought to myself that it might be a better experience. I was wrong! 10pc thighs & drumsticks and the thighs looked like this! Not to mention the inch of grease in the bottom of the bucket and seeping through it. Disgusting!! Never again!
7/7/21 at 5:38PM – Got into the drive-thru line.
5:45PM – Order taken, I paid & was told to pull around into their parking lot to wait.
6 – 6:07PM – I sit with 2 other cars waiting and watch a white female staff come out to smoke out back, 1 staff leave and 3 more staff arrive for work.
6:13PM – I call about my order & ask to speak to the manager (doors were locked). Total unprofessionalism! Staff yelled to the female manager who yelled back for me to call back in 5min. I refused saying that I’d already came through and was waiting in the lot. Then, I could hear the manager yelling at and disrespecting me so I asked for her name and was hung up on.
6:25PM – My order’s brought out without my receipt. Staff refused to get it or give me the manager’s name.
Just emailed corporate as well!
