Food is usually haphazard and poorly made at the Painted Post location. My most recent order had smushed biscuits, corn in both my gravy, and mashed potatoes and gravy sides (I didn’t order any corn). I also ordered 2 breast and 1 wing, and received 1 breast, 1 wing, 1 thigh. Now granted, it was a big thigh, but it was still clearly dark meat, when I prefer white meat, and paid extra for it. Food from this location is very inconsistent, there seems to be very minimal staff, and I am frequently disappointed. I had delivery for the first time today otherwise I would’ve taken the thigh back. My ratings for service and atmosphere are based on 5+ other visits in store as opposed to today’s delivery. I desperately miss the quality of this KFC and do think this location lacks quality due to a lack of staff – usually see only 1 or 2 people in the building. Not fair to the employees, so I hope management and/or the franchisee fixes that ASAP!

Food used to be decent when it was a newer location. I typically get a chicken sandwich meal. Last 5 to 10 times the chicken has been like rubber. This time, the bun was stale as well, and you could taste the fryer oil on the still rubbery chicken.

Picked up a 2 piece with mashed potatoes and gravy and I couldn’t even bite in to the skin of the leg or the thigh. Very disappointed. Called and told it would be replaced if I came back . Will go in a few days but this will probably be the last time. Too cold to go back tonight. So sad the cook thought this was ok?

I tried the Taste of KFC meal at this location, and it was pretty good. It also seems like a good deal for the price. The service was pretty fast, but note that I went at a time when it wasn’t very busy. I also ordered at the kiosk, not at the front register. The interior is very unique for a KFC, and the seating area is quite spacious, though keep in mind that doesn’t mean there are a ton of tables.
Also, the parking lot entrance is on Edgar Tillman St, not on W High St, and it can be a bit confusing to spot the actual entrance at first.

If you grew up in the 60’s you know how good KFC used to be.
The only item worth a trip to this place is their coleslaw. Today, it seems that has also changed. Now even the coleslaw is no longer the same…just bland like the rest of their offerings.

Don’t expect to ever get your food when the app tells you it’ll be ready. Walking in you get hit in the face with the smell of a farm, they don’t bother to even call when they don’t have the correct items to complete your order. When you tell them the name on the order they decided to look at the screen and miss pronounce your name even after telling what it is. This is the 2nd chance I’ve given this location since it has opened and honestly I’ll drive 30 mins in either direction to have a better experience.

Was handed a nasty unknown drink when I ordered a completely different drink. It’s warm with no ice and there’s a weird thing floating in it. I even tried it to see what it was, tasted like water. Disgusting.. also it’s not tea I’m not even sure what it is..fries were half full and soggy. I don’t recommend eating here. I definitely won’t be back. Just ruined my appetite.

There was a very small angry manager that yelled at me when I accidentally leaned up against the light switch and turned them off. He then proceeded to take care of 3 other customers that ordered their food after me. After waiting 20 minutes for one meal my chicken was raw and uncooked. I personally feel like he tried to poison me on purpose because I accidentally touched his light switch. Very unprofessional

Ordered what was supposed to be at least crispy chicken and they can’t even get the skin on the chicken. Clearly undercooked and several spots and yet they felt that this was acceptable to serve to the public hopefully I don’t get sick from the piece I already ate before I noticed that it was this badly done. This is the same management that came from Elmira so clearly they’re just going to continue the same poor quality of food at a different location.
